Hello, my name is Tania McHendrie, owner and operator of Choons & Moovz.
This photo was taken at the Carrieton Rodeo 2018 - you can’t see me in the picture, but to the right, I am on the back of a truck DJing & MCing to hundreds of people and about 10 bulls and 6 horses. I was having the time of my life, and as you can see, so is everybody else.
Not far from Carrieton, is the small town of Hawker in the Flinders Ranges. That’s where I grew up and I love being a country girl. I now base myself in the Adelaide CBD, but you know what they say, you can take the girl out of the country, but you can’t take the country out of the girl. I love playing music all over the state, whether it’s in the bush, at a winery or in one of Adelaide’s latest bars or hotels.
I love entertaining and playing music, it brings joy to my heart and lights up my soul. Seeing people be free for a moment....simply dancing and singing to their favourite song is the highlight of every gig. I’ve had the honour and privilege of witnessing some very special moments at many events and helped people celebrate their greatest milestones.
My husband (only just married November 2019) and partner in the business, Jay Smith took this photo. He has been my roadie, sound technician, photographer, motivator and biggest fan - we make a great team and do everything we can to make sure your event is exactly what you need and more.
