I’m Katharina – florist, business owner, mum of two humans, nine chickens and several foster cats. Located in Perth (SoR),
Flower Nation grew from the seeds of my passion for sustainability, textures and weddings, and has blossomed into a multi-award winning business since it was first founded in 2011.

I specialise in floral styling that is not only gorgeous, but also ethical, eco-friendl

y and efficient.

The Flower Nation difference is that I do not simply provide flowers, but complete table and venue styling so that you don’t have to worry about multiple vendors, organising deliveries and excess costs — instead, you can relax and enjoy your day! I proudly offer Perth’s largest range of rental preserved florals through my revolutionary Real Flowers for Hire option, which is my solution to the problem of having to choose between beauty, affordability and sustainability.

Flower Nation is your one-stop destination for sustainable floristry services in Perth, offering everything from flowers, to styling, and even education. I love to teach and when I’m not busy setting up dreamy events, I run Workshops to share my dried and preserved floral arrangement techniques.

If you come for our consultation we are all about how to make your flowers work best for you whilst staying within your budget!

If you have to save in some areas focus your spend where most pictures will be taken (and hitch is usually around the B&G(think kiss photo and your faces full of emotion during speeches) so flower well on this areas and you can skim a bit for the rest.

My Story and Vision

Born and raised in Germany, my European roots influence my style and design. Combining this with my love for Australian natives, seasonal blooms and interesting textures the loose and natural style shows through my work, for which Flower Nation is known.

I am passionate about weddings and love working with my brides to make sure that i deliver their vision on the day!

I value good customer service and a honest direct approach, and am striving to provide just that. I will tell you when I don’t think something will last in our climate, or when I think something is not going to work.

I believe that finding the right florist/ stylist is important for getting the final look right. You need to be able to trust that the service providers you choose are the right people for YOU.
