Kayaking the Tweed River from Uki is an awesome section of river to explore - We did it with heaps of teenagers and everyone loved the rapids along the way!

What a day!! It was a day of finishes for the top 4 teams in the full course and the rest of the half course teams. It was hot at 34 degrees on the course and it was great to see everyone still on the course was through to TA7 before the end of the night.
It’s always a privilege to welcome teams over the line at the finish and we had a cold beer and meat pie ready when they got here!
Day 3 on the Legend XPD course and teams are speed the full length of the great ocean road. But no matter where they were spirits were high and the view were awesome.

What a great start to the Legend XPD race!
Teams set off from the beach at Apollo Bay, just outside race HQ, for the 20km ocean paddle stage. After days of heavy swell and big breakers on the Bass Strait, race conditions were close to perfect for the paddle along the coast to the take-out at Kennett River.

Canberra – 17 February – We’re very excited about the Canberra course – after working on Top Dog 24 2023 we knew we had some great opportunities for a 6hr event! The course will feature lots of fun and easy single track on the mountain bikes and great navigation and trekking challenges. And of course the paddling options are going to be great on the lake. Race HQ will be in the park at the National Rock Garden just off Lady Denman drive which will give us easy access to some of the funnest trails around.

Ulladulla – 16 March – It’s no secret that we love the coast in the Shoalhaven region – the white sand and turquoise water and the super fun tracks and trails in the national parks and state forests make for an adventure playground. Race HQ will be in the Lion’s park just south of Ulladulla on Burrill Lake. This gives us access to some great paddling opportunities and some great tracks and trails for both trekking and on the mountain bikes.

There’s some awesome MTB trails coming in hot on the Legend Expd course in late Feb. A solid mix of world class trail builds and grass roots community trails to make it super fun. And we’re doing everything we can to keep teams off the fire trails and on the single track. And there’s a Pub near the transition area in case teams want to settle in for the night.
