Weddings:
Creating the perfect wedding ceremony where everyone actually feels like they belong, regardless of their ability is important to me. Whether it’s a quick legals only Registry-style ceremony or a bespoke ceremony written from the heart, your wedding ceremony should reflect your love and personalities. Forget the cheap and book the affordable option which caters for you and your love. To

gether we’ll create your special day just as you imagined it, while I take care of all the stress and legals and paperwork you and your love can focus on spending time with those you love the most. Naming Ceremonies:
The community a child is raised in contributes to the building of character, values, social, education and life skills. Naming ceremonies traditionally introduced the community to that child. Today’s naming ceremonies can celebrate not only a child and their community but I believe they are a fun and exciting way to celebrate a gender, identity or new name for an adult. Life Celebrations:
Looking to renew your marriage vows on a particular anniversary, say congratulations for a hard-earned achievement or celebrate the life of a loved one in a meaningful funeral service, Life Celebrations are a special way to show your love. However you choose to celebrate, in the form of a large outdoor event or a small and intimate service, let me guide you through this process.

It’s been a big week at the build site with insulation and gyprock being installed.

Still waiting on two cavity sliding door fixtures to arrive and be installed and the remaining brickwork on one side to be completed. Then the last of the gyprock before lockup happens.

So darn exciting and looks more like a home now.

A few weeks ago we travelled to Venus Bay on the west coast of South Australia. Managed to catch a few whiting. Tonight we so enjoyed some of the fillets.

I love vinaigrette dressing on my salad while prefers creamy dressings.

There’s no difference in our love of Skinnymixers chicken salt thanks to Nikalene Riddle.

Just perfect

If you've not done so recently consider going through your linen press, old or unloved sheets towels, blankets, tablecloths etc and making a donation at this event. Such a worthy cause.

Nine News just reported on a woman being stabbed in a domestic violence incident.

Their reporter included that the victim had just left a gym and was dressed in active wear. What someone is wearing has nothing to do with why they are attacked! Why even mention it!

Not good enough.

I love . We took our tinny out this morning and were immediately joined by a pod of dolphins on the calm mirror flat water.

I caught a couple of whiting and a tommy and just missed a flathead. Brett’s cleaning them for me now.

I am stunned that this article has appeared online, today of all days where rather than talking about how we can do more for women and girls The Australian is celebrating the heroics of a man who is alleged to have specifically targeted and murdered a woman. Even worse, it is written by a woman.

I could just cry.

His alleged community work and his link to football make me shudder. Does that make him a good person?

Just stop with the good guy gone bad rhetoric.

He has allegedly murdered Samantha Murphy and that makes him a criminal, a bad guy in my book. Why would The Australian need to make him sound like a good guy? Just why!

The Our Watch website has resources for media to guide them on appropriate language to use when reporting on violence against women.

If you work in media or even if you don’t, please take some time to learn how to discuss violence in the public space.

DO NOT COPY & PASTE POSTS

I’m sick of seeing posts like this on my friends pages.

It’s fake and it’s likely targeting those who don’t fact check to know who to go to for future scams.

Before sharing a post that tells you to copy and paste please check it independently.

Hoping the next time we visit the site the building is coming right down and making way for our new home.
Disappointed there seems to be little salvaging of anything.

I’m behind in posting this year. Life is moving faster than the speed of light with this wonderful human ♥️.

Sharing this little selfie from our recent honeymoon in where we had the opportunity to disconnect from life worries and enjoy the serenity of our bushland cabin. It was wonderful.

I really hope everyone had a beautiful day celebrating their love for another human.

Today, I received two more suspicious friend requests on Facebook that appear to be scammers using stolen images. Unfortunately, Facebook won't take my concerns seriously, so I am sharing these fake profiles publicly. Facebook

We’re demolishing our home and have taken all the pictures off the walls. I hate blank walls so have been re-drawing all the pictures as I remove them onto the walls. I love this one.

I have redrawn it freehand with a black marker and a pencil.

I didn't write this but found it incredibly responsible in getting a message across. I support the change of date. Let's unite both the First Nations people and the rest of us with a day that's appropriate for all. And while we're there, let's not use imported cheap and nasty plastic s**t to celebrate it. Let's do something worthwhile like all of us who can afford to, donating $1 or $2 per person to a homelessness support charity.

A good Yarn about Jan 26 🙌🏽

✋Ahhhh mate, it’s the day Captain Cook discovered Australia
🤚🏽Nahhh, it’s not Actually, that was in April in 1770
✋Oh well, it was when Australia was first discovered by white people then
🤚🏽well no, that was in 1606, and you know there were people here for thousands of years before?
✋Yeah, but it’s when we became a nation, we became Australia
🤚🏽Sorry, no that was 1st of January 1901, and there were many First Nations here long before
✋Well mate, it’s a bloody tradition alright, let me have my beers, beach, and barbie
🤚🏽Well it’s actually only been a national holiday since 1994, so it can’t really be a tradition. But we have traditions here that date back over 60,000 years
✋What does it represent then?
🤚🏽Well, it’s when convicts came over and the British Flag was raised in Warrane (Sydney Cove). It’s a National Day of Mourning for the First Nations people of this land. A day that marks the beginning of massacres, genocide, dispossession, Frontier Wars....

You’d think a nation with such rich cultural history could recognise and respect their First Nations people, and at the very least, Change the Date.....?

A personal difference

Big congratulations to you both on your decision to get married, it’s such an exciting time in your lives and one that should be filled with joy.

Wouldn’t it be absolutely divine if you could immerse yourself in the day, enjoying the time spent sharing your love with family and friends while your Celebrant takes care of the Ceremony and legal affairs?

That’s where I can make a difference.

I specialise in bespoke or personalised weddings and there’s nothing more I love doing than to sit with a couple to listen to the journey that brought our lives together.
