Leah & Dougs love story began with two swipes right at 4 am, Leah was on night shift and was way too busy but after a little sleep she woke to a message from Doug, he mentioned how stunning she was and they had to meet.
That first date took them to Southbank for a Casual drink and dinner, they were even greeted by a giant cockroach running up the wall behind Leah followed by a riverside for a walk where the conversation just flowed. Date one was so good the next day they met up again to see a movie.
The rest has become history with the beginning of the next chapter.

A wise man once said
"Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment, until it becomes a memory. To the world you may be one person; but to one person you may be the world."
Every moment on your wedding day becomes a memory; hence my guest pep talk around phones and capturing the moments by be present and allow the photography team to capture the rest.
I love that couples now have the option for Photography, Videography and Content creators who can capture it all. Allowing you and your guests to enjoy the moments.

Fur Babies at weddings
When Natalie & Matt wanted Charlie at their wedding.
It was a Hell Yes!
We have 3 doggos ourselves and they are our children, our family and should absolutely be a part of your day.
You just have to plan the logistics though so they can go and be safe away from the festivities after like with the crew & hot tip, take them to the ceremony spot so they too can suss it out, once you add all of your friends and family their little noses and attention can go crazy, but at least they will know the smells and sights of the space.

Thank you 🙏 When we were looking for a celebrant we wanted someone with great energy. As soon as we found Jay we knew he was our man. We had Jay as both our celebrant and MC for the night.Jay had everyone in tears of happiness and the next minute in tears of laughter with our beautifully written ceremony. Paul 😍 Justine. They met with two things in common; community corrections and a prisoner they both had the pleasure or guarding for a day together and that day they worked out pretty quickly there could be a love story in the making.

Lachlan 😍 Tayla
This story began 10 years, 5 months, 9 days or 3814 days or 91 536 hours at the time of the ceremony.
Meeting Clifton State High School. Tayla walked down the stairs from the office and was introduced to Lachlan straight away. He gave her the most awkward hug; she was so confused and was told "just go along with it". She thought he was really strange. Lachlan thought "Wow she's beautiful." As time went on Tayla stayed at Lachlans for a night as friends and they worked out thee was more to this story and she stayed 5 nights instead. When she left they were no longer just friends. Matt 😍 Dani
It was at a UQ scribble party in 2015 where Matt put his foot in it and Dani continued to talk to him where this love story began.
which included a drunken walk across the Warrago highway for Maccas. Dani wanted to use the over pass but her now bridesmaid make her leg it over the highway.
As they returned to college, Sophie and Matt made a chair out of their arms because Dani was dawdling too much while browsing Facebook and the rest is history Preston Peak Functions

We celebrants aren’t all the same and that’s a good thing, you have a choice in who makes your ceremony and entire day EPIC!
I’m all about fun, not the kind where we clap and have a sing-along taking the p**s with cringy jokes.
But the kind of fun energy that makes guests excited, you two wanting more and celebrating 4 years this year as a full-time celebrant I can’t wait to up the energy level and continue growing and creating amazing ceremonies with my collection of bow ties and Cuban boots on the increase too.

The moment you have just come back together, the aisle has been walked, tears wiped away, dress in place, flowers put aside, you are holding hands staring at one another and I give you that space, that moment to say hello and breathe.
All while smiling knowing I have an epic love story to tell.

Who is Jay…?
Apart from being your Celebrant | MC & complete creative.

I love weddings and even more Wedding receptions because they work hand in hand and that may appear obvious but sometimes elements of the two are not. Everything has to flow & having one familiar; sassy face that makes sure everything is on point make the difference.
Because the one day is all about the two of you.

Outside of the wedding world, you will find me travelling, camping by the water in summer as a total water baby & out in the bush in winter off the grid roasting marshmallows. Nothing beats an escape.

In the morning don’t talk to me until I have had at least one coffee but make it three, Rose for lunch is perfectly fine and fire up the BBQ for dinner. Is that a dirty martini?

I’m married to an amazing husband who said Yes! In 2018 and we sealed the deal in 2019 as two kings & together we are either doing all the above, dog showing, out and about or binging the newest hit on Netflix series.

One thing is for sure though life is short and I am here to grab it by the Duck's Nuts and create magic along the way.

Priyesh heart Shanti

This love story began in 2021 and it all began with buying socks, but no ordinary socks, they were posh socks from Selfridges.
Shanti's mum told her she should take a friend shopping so she asked Priyesh. Little did Shanti's mum know she had just set off a chain reaction that became a love story & in January a marriage.

They both of course bring their differences.
Priyesh is calm, quiet and collected a chicken wing aficionado and a specialist in being the wind-up merchant for Shanti.

& Shanti is his opposite she brings the energy and mouthpiece to their dynamic rather than being the peacemaker & sneaks Vegetables into Priyesh's diet.

One amazing couple all the way from the UK to celebrate with everyone here in Aus.

I am all about choice so I offer a few different options allowing you the say ‘we do’ the way you want.

The ducks nuts, my fully personalised ceremony that is literally all about the two of you, goes for about 30 minutes with everything from ring exchange to vows and a make-out session (between the two of you) included.
With my signature Lounge-room picnic and children’s book print.

The Snappy Goose is a short and sweet ceremony that still has the marriage story flavour but in less time. All the feels and of course the option for a children’s book.

Flown the coop, the only way to elope with packages tailored to each couple and what they would like. From just us and two witnesses to unique locations and all the bells without the guests.

The Legal eagle, a legal’s only ceremony without the feathers. Just the paperwork and legal wording.
