Sooooo, just because I didn’t think I had enough to manage I thought I would throw into the mix renovations and moving house! New roof, scaffolding, repainting outside railings just to name a few, and of course sorting, cleaning and organising our lives…. I keep telling myself it will be worth it in the end!!

It’s why I have been a bit quiet lately and as a result I have paused my online shop until I have the time and space to dedicate to it properly once the house is done which hopefully won’t be too much longer!!

I have paused my online store during winter but while life is busy, lots going on at home, I am still enjoying creating and experimenting. I saw Olga Prinku’s floral embroidery a while ago and was mesmerised. I am looking at adding a range of bespoke floral designs to my collection and am enjoying playing with dried flowers at the moment. I love the beauty of these flowers, different to fresh but in my opinion they hold their own. What do you think?

Last couple of days to book into the last workshop for the season! We will be using gorgeous seasonal blooms, focusing on whimsical free-flowing designs and learning how to get the most of the blooms. High tea, endless cuppas and lots of fun and smiles.

We had a beautiful afternoon at yesterday’s seasonal bouquet workshop. Flowers make you feel good, and there was plenty of smiles and laughs even if the weather outside was cold and rainy!

It was the perfect day for hot drinks and yummy treats. And, don’t the bouquets look gorgeous?

Hi everyone! Sorry I’ve been a bit quiet lately. I thought I should post to update you and let you know what is happening with Blossom and Blaze.

I had planned on continuing to sew some items but have decided, at least for the time being, to take a break from sewing full time. I’m still doing the odd order for people who contact me (no un**es!) if I have the fabrics available but I have decided to put my effort into changing directions and building up my floristry business…essentially I am pivoting my business from fabrics to flowers.

I will soon also email my subscription lists to update everyone of the change of direction. I will also reopen my website soon with my floral offerings.

This page too will change focus, and I will update the name and description soon. I understand that this may mean some of you leave and that’s okay, I appreciate your support so far. I know many of you are local to me and my floral offerings may be more relevant to you but I would love to share my journey with you all if you are interested.

I am working on a range of workshops including bouquets, arrangements and wearables (flower crowns, corsages, necklaces, floral tattoos). I love whimsical, free flowing designs and am doing my best to be as sustainable as possible. I will also focus on using locally grown seasonal flowers.

Thank you again for your support and love over the years. It’s been amazing bringing you beautiful reusables for the last few years but I am so excited now for the next chapter xx

We’re taking a short break to refine our product offerings and create our new website. We’re excited planning our new direction and can’t wait to share it with you! In the meantime, be sure to follow our new colourful, creative floral designs at

Life is a little hectic at the moment but that’s the way we roll here! Lots of balls in the air and most of them are fulfilling, creative and bring so much joy. At the moment, it’s just a matter of reflecting, refining, refocusing and planning for the future. Blossom and Blaze is here to stay but it may look a little bit different heading forward.

As the founder and owner, I feel it’s important to keep the passion alive, be real about how I feel about my business, and respond and evolve as I reflect.

As many of you would know, I resigned from my position as a Deputy Principal after many years and have started a Floristry course which I am absolutely loving.

Flowers have always been an integral part of my life, whether they be growing in my garden, printed on to fabric or used to style an event. And, they always will be.

Now, following my passion, I am taking some time to discover and learn, and work on exactly what Blossom and Blaze will look like going forward.

I will check in from time to time here and keep you updated!

Super cute! Each little bunny bag has a plain side and a patterned side so you can choose from either. It means you can change them each year or have the same bag with a different side showing for two kids if you’re someone who loves coordinating.

The bag area measures approximately 14cm h x 18cm w x 3 cm deep. Plenty of space for little eggs or other Easter treats!

Started my floristry course this week. Starting small with fairly traditional posies but I loved it so much! I honestly feel so relaxed and happy when I’m working with flowers 💖🌸🌷🌻

Never too late to change direction! After resigning from my role as a deputy principal, things have been a little hectic but starting my course this week felt so good.

I’m slowly working out@what my sewing business will look like. I am having fun playing and enjoying the process. I’m hoping to have a release in early March but for now I thought I’d share a couple of pics from my first week.
