I became a wedding celebrant in the deepest, darkest time of my life. Everything I had spent years and tears creating came wildly crashing down around me in a full blazing KALI ego death, actually many. My relationship, my home, my Melbourne tribe, my health, my central nervous system, my business, my subcontracting work...all of it!
I moved my well established life in Melbourne with a home on the Northcote golf course humbly down to my mums home & moved into her garden cottage. I was completely and utterly broken~ shattered mentally, physically and spiritually. I realized I couldn't massage anymore due to some serious back issues and so a fresh canvas of creation lay before me. What the f**k was I going to do next?
Being a celebrant was something I had often thought about because I love LOVE and was born on the day of the storyteller. I have a wild passion for people & curating folk the best time. I love language & finding the rhythm in speaking it. I love tonality, pronunciation, feeling, depth & the heart of it. For me its about finding the most effective way to tell the tale so everyone gets it, especially the couple.
Anyway, I'm glad for the break, the heartache, all of it. I like who I am now & I adore my pathway~ it's an honour. If you or friends feel resonance with my style, let's touch base for a chat.

Celebrant and MC- Lucinda Light
I'm blessed to finally be seeing weddings kick off again after a long Covid hiatus. I have the most divine weddings coming up...in Melbourne, Uki, Sunny Coast and here in Byron Bay.
It's such a joy to journey alongside gorgeous couples ready to commit to each other... assisting them to co-create their own special signature day. Here is a little splash of an incredible wedding of two dear friends of mine.
