✨ Golden light photos! ✨

Sunset provides the most incredible light for photos.

Whenever we’re planning the run sheet with our couples we’ll always check in to see if they want to duck out for sunset photos. It only ever takes 10-15 minutes which, during daylight savings is usually somewhere between entree & mains or before the speeches kick off, & outside of daylight savings sunset is usually right when the bridal portraits end (or around that time). It’s so quick that the wedding guests rarely realise the newlyweds are missing!

If shots at this time of day are a priority for you, when you’re planning your run sheet, Google the date and location of your wedding (make sure you include the year!) & it will tell you the time of sunset. Then you can factor this in between formalities.
Depending on the location we usually head out 20 minutes before sunset.
