In a World where the expectations are to meet the socially acceptable constitutions, the socially/family/friends expectations....where did it become the norm to negate, debunk, demolish, lay down our own desires, wants, needs when it comes to Your Wedding? When did it become expected that you would do what thousands of other couples did and continue trends, patterns, designs, colours, guest lists

etc just to appease the masses? I get you might have to please a mum here, a sister there....but really.....is that the stuff that brings the joy to the cockles of your heart? Probs Not.! So let me help you both shake this s**t up! I'm critically acclaimed for my non-mainstream views, ideas and conducting of ceremonies. (*seriously...lol, people are critical) but that's because there's no one else doing or can do what I do. And that scares people..lol. But I promise I won't lead you astray...I'll help you create the best version of your Ceremony and ensure it's all you hoped for and then some! I'm professional but creative with a love of crazy fun, comical tones, banter, sarcasm and all sprinkled with a joy and love that will warm all your fuzzy bits!! Let's Chat!

Saturday was an incredible day for an incredible couple. Bronwyn & Ryan, after over a decade together, got to get their "I Do Day"! And it was epic.
Held at their property just outside Wamuran at Campbells Pocket, in front of roughly 40 odd of their nearest and dearest, and incorporating some pagan/wiccan and norse tributes including a Hand-Fasting, it was a ceremony that not just resonated with them, but their guests agreed all to well that it was a great story of a journey shared thus far and where this new chapter will take them.
It was also, like many of my ceremonies, full of banter and maybe even taking a moment or 3 for Ryan, his men and even Bron and the guests to find composure again after particular attention was brought to light on how the 28 foot deep dam may or may not be used in the future 😳 😱🫣😂
So, it not only had the laughs, but it also had the feels!
Ryan went all out, trying to create his perfect Vows for Bron, and to his surprise, they were actually fkn brilliant, and we all "aww'd" after hearing them.
Bron wrote from the heart, and we felt it .. it was humbling to hear such personal, honest, and raw Vows.
Bron & Ryan were referred to me by one of Brons' best mates Loz, who I married her to her hubby a few years ago, and it was so good to catch up. And as always, it's so fricken nice to be recommended 👌 ☺️.
Ryan & Bron, you're the epitome of what working with awesome clients should be. So thank you for trusting me to get you two hitched and being part of your story ❤️

Today marks their 1st Anniversary, yet it only feels like yesI had the special and beautiful pleasure to Marry my friends Sarah & Steve.
Sarah, a Celebrant also, who also married my husband and I, looked absolutely stunning in this glorious colourful floral gown. It was spectacular. Steve looked Dapper and stood so proud as Sarah made her way to him.
This was an absolutely fantastic day, and I still get a little sentimental that not only was I asked to help start their new chapter but also as their friend and help celebrate with them.
Ps, both Steve & my husband Merv are karaoke fans, and both entertained the guests with their great vocals. Whilst Sarah and the crowd danced along. 😍

Yep, we've had our ups & downs. But, we have learnt and are always learning to be the best person, not just for ourselves, but for us. For our Love.
You are the one who walks with me during my trials. You are my biggest Cheerleader.
I'm going to be always Grateful that you saw something worthy in me, and whilst I may get a little crappy and annoying, you always know just how to support me.

Backyard Bests!
Seriously....I love me a great Backyard Wedding. Though Brooke & Harlee have a bit more space than most of us..lol.
But you get to make the space your own, and it's exactly what B&H did. Harlee, with the help of great mates,built the Arbour and Signing Table. Decorated and put out the bales.
It was seriously an epic job.
What I love about this wedding to, is that I met Brooke & Harlee through a previous couple of mine, Amie and Dallas, who I met through a friend of mine Amanda, who I married to her husband Shannon. So, it's been an absolute humbling referral system for years now. Including another referral today from guests of Brooke & Harlee.
It means I'm doing something right!
But back to My Couple! These 2 really are just your down to earth, county loving, family loving couple who seek only good friendships and the love of a great human.
So today, after 15+ years together, where the joke us that Harlee literally picked Brooke out of the gutter (it's an inside joke..lol), they finally got their day.
They were with their most important people, including the farm animals who watched on, and Brooke's neighbour even jumped the fence to congratulate them. It was a wickedly fun ceremony... of course, but sentiment wasn't lost as they exchanged Personal Vows, which had us all a little choked up.
And following the ceremony and photos, everyone started smacking their lips, as we were enveloped by the amazing smell of dinner cooking in the background - had that sorted.
Today was a great day, and it was a great way to step back into the wedding season for me after a small hiatus.
Congratulations, Brooke and Harlee. You 2 are fkn fab! 😘🤘🤠

A week ago, I had the greatest pleasure of uniting Bec & Beau and their blended families.
Referred to me by one of my past Brides but also friend (thanks babe), I got to know B&B pretty well and all the shenanigans and cool chaos that is their lives. But these 2 take everything in their Stride... and are so steadfast, I don't think there'll ever be anything they can't handle together.
They are the ying and yang to each other, but work so well in everything they undertake.
And fark are they funny!!! The ceremony was exactly as they hoped, light-hearted, hilarious, guest engagement and surrounded by their closest family and friends that supported these 2 unconditionally.
Being set up by their bosses, there was a risk if this didn't go well.....but these bosses are very perceptive and knew that Bec & Beau would make a great couple.
All I can say is that I had a fkn super afternoon getting these 2 hitched and are stoked they trusted me via a recommendation.
So..Bec & Beau, Congratulations on 1 week married so far....here's to another 60+, of a tonne of love, potentially avoiding bedroom hazards 🫣😉🤣, and all the laughter, support and I'm confident a Non-Boring life together 🫣😉.

Lobg post ahead - Firstly, I apologise for those who've been in contact, emailed/messaged, called, or have been making enquiries, and I haven't responded as yet. Life threw some hefty curve balls in succession pretty much all at once.
The past 4 days have been some of the wildest days in yonks. And this post is about one of those "hold onto ya seat" moments.
I won't go into all the deets, but I want to praise my daughter and let her know she handled a parents worst nightmare with courage, with resilience, but more so with a fierce sense of saving her son.
My little moonpie choked on Tuesday afternoon, obviously requiring my colleagues to render help.
Thankfully, .iza03 kept as calm as she could.
And thank the Lord, moonpie came through fairly unscathed. Mum - Eliza, though obviously, was completely rattled but kept her composure as best she could . Which is not an easy thing to do. And even though this was completely accidental, a parents guilt can be even more challenging.
Moonpie is back to his normal, never stops, always cheeky and happy self.
However, in the hospital, he was completely flirting with the nurses and the Dr, flashing those baby blues.
I'm so proud of my daughter and how she managed the chaotic situation.
So today, he and I hung out and again, batting his gorgeous lashes. He had all the attention in the world 😎🫣🤣
My dearest .iza03 , you handled this situation so damn well. And you need to feel proud of all you did. 🤣
And, to all of you who made any type of communication, thank you for your patience in my delay in responding.
And a special thanks to for your help and to the Children's Nurses and Dr at Redcliffe hospital. You all sought to ensure not just my Grandsons health but that to of my daughter who understandably was distraught.
I'll be back to answering messages in the next few days, to chat about your day. 😉❤️ now try and sleep...that funnily enough has eluded me...😕🫣😉

I'm off to a slow start this NY. But firstly, Happy 2024, everyone.
Secondly, how awesome is it that our 2024 Couples are now on the home stretch to their weddings! I'm so excited for everyone, and I can't wait to hitch all my current couples and possibly any new ones seeking someone more alternative.
For me, 2023 was a mixed bag. It had good and s**te moments, but as we all do, we keep going because we're crazy f$%^kers like that.
2024 already is showing things are on the change, personally and professionally, and through it all, I plan to bloom.
I'm not great at this whole social media reels, vlogs, etc. But I'm hoping to change that.
I'm hoping to create conversations and talk about things maybe not mentioned or may seem taboo. P.s, I'm fkn brilliant at the Taboo talks....lol just saying!
Anyhoo....I hope you're all great...keeping dry and I'll talk to you all soon!

If ya didn't sweat your make-up off twice before your wedding today....then a salute you! 👏 😂
In a sea of Islanders and their families, the joke at today's wedding was simply that this chic couldn't deal with the humidity 🫠😂
It made for some fun moments and digs at myself that thankfully my couple and their guests laughed hard at..🫣
But I was truly thankful and humbled to be this families Celebrant for a 3rd time, and potentially 2 more to go 🙌
Renee & Mr T (Tali) shared this very special day with those they love. There was a few moments of tears of course as Pho, Renee's Dad passed a little while ago, and I was fortunate to Marry Renee's Dad Pho to her Mum Janelle a few years ago, after 25+ years together. I also married Renee's brother Josh to his beautiful Jo, and it was great seeing them again today.
The day was absolutely muggy af...but we didn't let that stop us. Renee had Tali holding back tears as she was walked in by Brother Josh, and Tali was supported by his tribe of fun and crazy groomsmen.
The ceremony included beautiful personal Vows, and Tali made it even more official by creating heart moving Vows to his now Step-Daighters, and they each received a Ring to.
It was a super chilled, fun and light-hearted relaxed ceremony that suited these two immensely. And whilst I'm no photographer, here are a few snaps I got post ceremony.
The team at including Ash who helped our Bride and her crew, were amazing. Even the Frill Neck Lizards who call BG home were out checking out all the fuss.
The biggest compliment a Celebrant can have is that of a referral, and this family has been amazing to work with.

Having 2 Black 🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛,and yes, I purposefully chose Black Cats. They have a very independent nature, but when I'm on my laptop and usually on a Video chat, is when my Lady Cruz loves hopping up on to the keypad...and try's to join in. A&L, who I was chatting with, loved it so much.
Cruz loves listening to the chinwags we have, and now and then, she'll give her own ideas.
I love my girls. Morticia was watching from the TV unit, out of shot, but still curious.

It's at times surreal that I get to do this crazy, awesome, sh¡t stirring, fun filled, soul feeling, loved up, kiss smacking Celebrant Gig! But here I am, crowning Kings, Queens and everyone in between to their Soul Catcher. And today was no exception!
Sharna and Ronald asked me to sign, seal, and unite them together today in front of their families, their mob! I've known Sharna on and off for a few years now as we've worked shifts together a few times with and it was humbling to be asked to be their Celebrant today.
It was a fun, short but laid back ceremony, as we kicked off with Acknowledgement to Country, and we went on with the ceremony with some incredible laughs and a tonne of banter, games and love.
And both Mums..Leigh and Kaylee ...they were just so proud and teary! But their hearts were full. Sharnas & Ronald's son Master N was adorable in his little suit. He has the most dashing eyes..🤎
Sharnas Dress...it was absolutely gorgeous, and Ronald wore his price tag on his Tie superbly 😉
It was an incredible afternoon, and I truly loved being part of today! Congratulations S&R, I'm sure your Corroboree & Cake were amazing! 🖤💛❤️

Today was a gorgeous warm spring day, in a beautiful gorgeous venue This was my first time at this venue and after seeing so many posts over the years, the chance to stand at that Glorious Window and take in the view.....it was truly stunning.
And so were today's couple. Hayden and Rosie! Aren't they gorgeous 😍
Today I stood in for a beautiful colleague who needed to be present with her family today, and asked if I could help.
When I'm available, I definitely will if I can.
And it was an absolute pleasure. A small intimate ceremony of just their closest, the salt of the earth kinda family and kin. You know the kind. And they were all grand. Hayden's Brother Jeremy, sang Rosie in as she walked with her Dad Ian. As they reached the top of the Aisle, Hayden offered his hand to his almost FIL, but Ian took Hayden by the shoulders and gave him a huge strong bear hug, to which we all kinda maybe got a little choked up. And as Rosie settled up next to Hayden, they both fixated upon each other, as if no one else was in the room. A short while later, these 2 became Husband and Wife to the echoing of cheers and tears...the good kind.
was on hand to capture today's memories and I'm looking forward to seeing these photos.
And to Bianca from , thanks for trusting me. It's hard to handover couples under any circumstance, but it's always humbling to be asked. ❤️

Every Celebrant fears ever having to hand over a couple that they've worked with. It's true...we fear if those days ever occur.
And unfortunately, yesterday I stepped in for a colleague friend, Bianca, from , who was sadly to unwell. I assured her all would be well and grabbed my gear, flew past her place to get necessary items, then off I headed to just outside Kilcoy to a private property for Bree & Rob's gorgeous day
With around 120 people, including their Adorable little girl Wren, I got these two "solemnised, unionised & Wedenised" (- lol I just made that up. 🤣😁)
Whilst a little warm and windy- which made Bree decide to remove her veil after getting to the top of the Aisle....it still was a perfectly beautiful day for these two to say I Do.
Lisa from with her 2nd shooter Jade were on hand to capture all the feels. And Driftwood Blue Floral & Events styled and created a gorgeous space & flowers.
That was a wonderful day. I hope your feeling better Bianca and looking forward to seeing photos from 🤘🫶🩷🖤🩶

FEES: The topic we hate dis....but it's a Necessary Evil.
My fees haven't increased for many years.
And whilst I have pretty regular set package fees. If circumstances or the need at my discretion to reduce or increase has occurred. It's now time after 10 years in the biz to commit to putting the appropriate fiscal worth I'm entitled to on the table
For those booked with me, obviously, yours stays the same.
For those who have reciprocally bartered for services, this stays in place.
In the next few days, I will post my new structured fees and inclusions.
My new fee implementation will be from the 1st November 2023.
As well as this, my Non-refundable booking fee percentage will also slightly increase, which is used to secure your date.
These increases are relevant and necessary. So if you have any questions, please reach out so we can discuss them 🤘🤜🤛🫶

Saturdays gorgeous Couple and also my friends.
If you didn't see my reel....then I'll quickly account...Becs dad past only a short while before she needed to prepare for her day.
Surrounded by so much love....so much care and having everyone rally with her, Jeff and the families especially Lesley Becs Beautiful Mum, it was an absolute humbling experience and still filled with sentiment, joy, laughter, banter and compassion.
Yes...there were tears, there was heartache.....but every good and hard emotion that we all felt did not overshadow the love and respect for these families.

The Cairns Family - Jeff's side, The Zarb family - Becs side and everyone in between stood in honour and solidarity....even our venue hosts from Reid's place...and The Leagues Club.
It was still such a beautiful and vibrant day!

Next, it was Rhiannon and Harli's superb intimate Wedding Celebration at a gorgeous AirBnB in Pullenvale -
And of course, my heart and soul ignited when I learnt they were incorporating tones of Norse/Viking elements. { I was in my element }
I will add, these two whilst having a small celebration, still wanted the incorporation of sentiment and Ritual. And we made that happen. Hand-Fasting, personal Vows and my suggestion of using one of Harli's axes to present the rings was exactly what R & H wanted. And it's what we created. Rhiannon making their Vow books, and many personal touches, all captured by Nikki from who was fantastic to work with.
Then as a beautiful ending to their day, was the announcing and acknowledging of a Mini Robinson is on its way. ❤️
I truly loved being able to help and participate in Harli & Rhiannon's vision. And I'm probably a little bias to being I'm a keen & experienced Viking/Norse/Pagan/Wiccan ritualist. And practice/adhere to these crafts.
Rhiannon and Harli, you both looked absolutely smashing...gorgeous and so so content.

Well, what a busy few weeks I've had so far, and wedding season has only just kicked off..✨️
Here's the wedding of Calum & Courtney. I was fortunate enough to be Calum's Dads Celebrant 4 years ago when Phil married the Gorgeous Megz. And both Cal & Courtney decided they wanted my Celebrant style for their picture perfect day to. I was thrilled. And what a day it was....held over on Straddie at the Sth Gorge...a beautiful and vibrant setting for these 2 to share a truly memorable day with everyone they love.
Whilst a little nervous, they settled in for a fun and sweet ceremony and then took over the local bowls club to party their first night away as Husband and Wife. I truly loved being part of this day and being able to get this gorgeous pair paired away for life 🤘
Also, one of these photos has us hiding behind Courts bouquet...lol.. I think it's a great shot of me...🫣😆😉😂

Morticia completing the Quality Assurance and making sure I'm ready for tomorrow's wedding and a big weekend.
Crews couldn't care, and has snuggled up under my dressing gown as we listen to the Thunder that's slowly approaching.
I love storms, thunder, and lightening. It's quite cathartic for me. I believe this makes me a 🥹⛈️☔️
Looking forward to a full and busy weekend.

I know...I know....nothing pretty to see here. ..lol. But wanted to let you all know I'm still around....August has been hectic, a quieter month wedding wise, which I have appreciated but from Thursday my wedding season is flippin FULL.ON! 😳🤪.
So between work, teenage boys, my gorgeous Moonpie Grandson, my beautiful Daughter, my own Anniversary, lovin up on my furbabies, meetings and working with couples who have gotten some really s**tty news and a whole lot of other stuff, and realising I haven't posted much lately. .I just wanted to say ... Hey ..I'm here, tired, need an IV coffee line inserted and probably sleep...who needs that any way...lol...looking dishevelled...but I'm here.. and keen as hot sauce for all my upcoming couples Weddings.
Keep watching this space, as I'll post as the week's go and have an exciting new "Winner Winner..Chicken Dinner Comp coming November 🤘🤪.

Well, I'm not sure this has ever been done before. But here I am, pushing the boundaries 🤘.
I've bartered my services previously, and it came up in conversation with some of my previous couples. It wasn't an affordability issue. It was we each had services we could swap, and it worked perfectly. I've gained tattoos, pampering services, hair services,cleaning services, and a few other products and services. It's been actually very fulfilling to all parties.
So, I thought I'd offer the opportunity to you all that this Offer is only exclusive to:

Saturdays Wedding for Bree & Michael was held at the cute and quaint at The Bush Chapel. An open air Chapel that has held many religious and non-religious ceremony there.
I was referred to Bree & Michael by Bree's sister Tamz, who I've known for well over 12 years via other friends. Thanks Tamz for the referral 😉🤘❤️.
And what a crazy, sassy, bantering battering these two got and had. This was literally the funniest and loudest ceremony I've done in a long time, but it had a terrific twist of Country meets Star Wars! 🤣 There were classic one liners, bouts of banter, games, sweet moments and a Groom that couldn't wipe the smile from his face. Bree was our giggler, and kept cracking up. Having us all laughing.
This ceremony was created like always to suit my couple. And they were thrilled with how everything went.
Thanks so much Bree & Michael for having me. I had a fkn great time 🤘🤍

Today 5 years ago I Said YES to Forever to my Hubby Merv.
We've had our tough roads, our ups and downs like many do.
But at the centre of Us is our Love, Commitment and continuous service to improve our Marriage, our Life and grow...even if it still gets me a little fiery that he's "always right" 😉.
We've come along way, with so much more to do, learn, grow and are committed to always being there for each other.

Just a couple of games for Selina & Chris and a whole lot of guest participation.
I love adding in games.....there are some Celebrants now who've seen I do this and are trying to do it it.
I can't IP that s**t...but every ceremony will be unique and completely different abd unique to that couple.
And my couples LOVE I bring a unique personality and fun fiasco to their day!
