This week our Head of Sales, Kimberley Wood showcased Canberra as a business events destination at The Meeting Show APAC 2024 in Singapore. Bringing together MICE suppliers and associations from across continents, the tradeshow provided a platform for productive discussions and networking opportunities.

Prior to the tradeshow, Kimberley participated in a delightful lunch where she shared Canberra’s exciting news and plans with key media, clients and the other Australian Convention Bureau partners.

Treetops Adventure Canberra has opened in Majura Pines, near the CBD! The course boasts over 90 aerial obstacles and 16 ziplines, suspended between 1-15 metres above the ground.

Day 3 of Top Secret 2024 started with strong coffee and breakfast catered by The Ginger Group at the National Arboretum Canberra, with the group being joined by David Smith MP. We then had a brilliant session learning about some indigenous artefacts with the National Arboretum team followed by a throw of a boomerang before heading to the Canberra Glassworks for a Tour & Tile making session. The final gathering was a delightful lunch in the Ambassador Lounge at the Hyatt Hotel Canberra - A Park Hyatt Hotel before the group made their way back to the airport, for a beverage in the Qantas Lounge before flying home.

A big thanks to Murrays Coaches for smooth transportation and to everyone who participated our Top Secret Program!

The collaborative team at the National Convention Centre Canberra and Encore Event Technologies APAC curated a remarkable atmosphere with smoke, lights and impressive AV in an intimate venue setting, topped off with a menu crafted from the finest seasonal ingredients. The experience was further elevated by the entertainment provided by Stargigs Entertainment.
