Perth Hills Events is all about the Hills of Perth and the surrounds, we love putting together events that are inclusive, we love creating specialized events and bring our community together. Well it has been four weeks now since I got ill with influenza and yesterday I pushed through with an event and I have to say by 11am I was done, by 2pm finished I was struggling to keep going and then to get home to my fav dog did me in completely, bed by 7am and my body hurt, my mind was numb and I was questioning myself.....a lot.
So glad a month till next event.

The disc golf global scene is already buzzing with the news, with representatives from Thailand to Venezuela to Germany to NZ to the US already sharing and getting excited about coming to Australia to represent their country.
The World Flying Disc Federation 2024 World Team Disc Golf Championships are being held in Mundaring from the 6th - 9th November, the hills will be abuzz.
This event, WFDF’s 5th for national disc golf teams, will bring over 20 teams from around the world to Mundaring and Perth, Western Australia.
The WTDGC will be hosted over 4 days from Wednesday 6th of November to Saturday 9th November on two18-hole disc golf courses located in the bush and throughout the Mundaring Sporting Club Golf course.
Spectators are welcome to join them and enjoy watching countries battle it out for the title of top world disc golf team.
Food trucks and the all important coffee will be on hand to make the day even more enjoyable.
Sophie Diehm from BOP Industries recently reached out to let us know about these awards for our MINIs, we have so many gorgeous ones from JAM, PHAM, RSAM and Gourmets, we hope a few will jump on this opportunity and see where the world can take them, as in our eyes they are all award winners.
With so many young people leading projects in their communities, the Next Gen Awards have been created as an opportunity to showcase our next generation of young innovators, entrepreneurs and leaders across the country. Entries for this awards program are open to Australian primary and high school students in Grades 4-12, and their educators. The Next Gen Awards features six award categories to acknowledge young people that are building their 21st-century skills, as well as the educators supporting them along the way.
The 2024 awards program features a range of opportunities for young people to build their skills, grow their networks, and showcase the impactful work they are leading in their communities. There are also some incredible prizes on offer for our winners!
We'd love to see your students from the Mini Artisan Markets nominating for the awards - the work they are doing to bring their ideas to life is truly inspiring and deserves recognition! I've attached a flyer explaining each of our award categories, which you are more than welcome to share to your Minis.

There will be 50 spaces to browse and shop up a storm over papercrafts, sewing, quilting, beading or all manner of crafting items, this is the place to destash or add to your stash.
