Repurposing florals 🤍

I am an avid supporter of repurposing florals from wedding ceremonies to receptions, in order to get the full benefit & enjoyment from your wedding flowers.

As was the case with Sarah & Ted, our rectangular stands were utilised to frame their ceremony space before relocating the stands to The Ballroom to be admired by the couple & their guests all night long.

I love thinking creatively about how to maximise your florals to best suit your style and budget, providing a premium & personable service and excellent value for money.

Bud vase beauty…Featuring dancing Queen Anne’s Lace, fluffy Hydrangea Paniculata and curly Lisianthus. I love the contrast in textures of these three classic florals.

As the ballroom at .prahranarcade encapsulates the grandeur of the 19th century architecture in Victoria we thought simplicity was best for the table arrangement so opted for bud vases.

Although my home & studio are based on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula, I frequently travel to locations all over Victoria. As was the case for Rachel and Ash’s stunning Summer wedding in Lorne.

Buttonholes for Pana, friends & family.

We incorporated olive foliage in each design and due to the extreme weather on the wedding day utilised preserved Hydrangea & Paper Daisies for longevity, each Buttonhole was bound with black ribbon.

We had initially planned on designing full table scapes of branches, foliages & fruits for Andrea & Pana’s wedding, however after my site visit to the venue, finding out more about the menu style, table sizing, room set up etc it was recommended we keep the tables minimal in floral style and redistribute the value of the table scapes elsewhere.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This meant we were able to create statement pieces like in this gorgeous nook in the far corner of the room.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Love the way that these florals connect with the landscape outside and vice versa.

It was a real pleasure designing for Andrea & Pana. The inspiration for their florals being drawn from the unstructured and organic beauty of nature, foliages, branches and fruits, with some flowers.

For Andrea to carry on her wedding day we opted for a single variety of flowers en masse, showcasing the simplicity & understated design of the bouquet.

Due to the delicate nature of the flower variety, coupled with the hot & blustery weather conditions on the day, I decided to design her two bouquets, just in case.
