With the bringing in of a new year and as our community continues to grow, we would like to take this opportunity to re-introduce ourselves.

SCEIA is a member-lead association that works tirelessly to advocate, consult and connect.

We advocate on behalf of the industry to enact positive change where needed. As we know that as industry growth means change, and we believe in having a positive voice has a profound impact.

We consult broadly with the events industry and stakeholders to be an informed and credible source of industry knowledge, and a trusted advisor. We believe having representatives you can trust and support you.

We connect local suppliers to stimulate collaboration and promote our network to event owners and promoters both within the region and out of region. Together we can be stronger!

After a big 2024, SCEIA will be taking some time off over Christmas and New Years.

SCEIA will be closed from Friday 20th December 2024 until Monday 20th January 2025.

We look forward to sharing another fantastic year, full of events with everyone in 2025!

As a member of the Events Industry it is important to stay up to date on the latest information and trends.

We are pleased to have been able to help our members stay up to date throughout 2024 by hosting a number of educational events for all to attend.

Some of the topics covered throughout 2024 include the nighttime economy, providing insights into where it is at currently as well as predictions for the future, and the effects of the economy on the local event scene.

As 2024 draws to a close we look forward to 2025 and another year of providing value to the local events industry not only through connection at events but also through education.

At SCEIA, we love the opportunity to showcase members of the local events industry.

At our recent 'End of Year Mix n' Mingle' event we welcomed Noosa Photobooth's as they shared with guests, 1 of their 5 different photobooth options.

The photobooth was a great icebreaker for guests as they jumped behind the camera together and had a bit of fun, with the option to take both still photos and create GIFs. The added bonus was that all content could be shared directly to guests' phones so they could share with their friends immediately!

Thank you to for sharing their product, we can't wait to see Noosa Photobooth's popping up at more events around the Sunshine Coast in the future!

What an incredible night at our Mix N'Mingle Event!

Held at Wharf Events Mooloolaba, we kicked off the evening with the talented Ella Joy setting the perfect vibe for networking, Mayor Rosanna Natoli spoke on the value and importance of the events, hospitality and tourism industries to the Sunshine Coast, Brenda LaPorte gave an inspiring recap of everything SCEIA has achieved in 2024 and Helen Perry shared her insights from this year's Australian Wearable Art Festival, before rounding off the night with a fantastic performance by The Surfin' Mariachies, while mingling with fellow event industry professionals.

Located upstairs at The Wharf Mooloolaba, this new space is the perfect setting to unwind, network and enjoy some good food and drinks.
