Some great news today for Darwin and the Top End from Singapore Airlines and Darwin International Airport ✈️

Singapore Airlines (SIA) have confirmed it's operations to Darwin will increase to five times weekly, as travel demand continues to grow.

The Top End is also set to welcome SIA’s newest narrowbody aircraft, the Boeing 737-8 from 2 June, elevating the customer experience for those travelling to Darwin.

From now SIA will increase its operations to Darwin to five-times weekly, with SQ251/252 operating every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday, delivering greater connectivity to the Top End.

This year is the 13th Anniversary of this premier event which helps to raise much needed funds for the Starlight Children's Foundation Australia and helps to brighten the lives of sick kids and their families in the Territory 🤩

Today we celebrate Territory Day 🥳 but unfortunately due the latest Covid-19 cases and lockdown, the Fireworks Celebration at Mindil Beach has been cancelled. But in true 'Territory' style, we're sure the locals will find many other unique ways of celebrating as only Territorians do. We'll you keep you posted as to when the community celebrations will be rescheduled.
