We recently received an email from a group of parents who, like so many, tried their hearts out to get their Taylor Swift obsessed children tickets to The Eras Tour with no luck. They still wanted to do something special for their Swifties! Enter

Their request… a Taylor Swift Disco! The result was something special.

SCHOOLS BACK! (Collective celebrations from parents and guardians everywhere)

Back to school today for so many students here in Melbourne!

With school starting back we wanted to shout out to our incredible team of DJs who are all teachers themselves. They are passionate, engaging, entertaining and amazing at what they do in the classroom! If you pass a teacher this morning at school drop off give them a ‘Hi five’ 👋. Teachers are a special type of person!

Day 1 of the Kids Summer Festival was a blast! But the good news is that DJ BK, DJ Lexi, DJ Matty V, DJ at Sam I Am, DJ Yaz-zy and DJ Nate will be in the Great Hall from 2:15pm to 3:00pm throughout the rest of the week hosting the most amazing dance parties! What a way to kick off 2024!!

The National Gallery of Victoria Kids Summer Festival is the perfect school holiday activity and Kids Disco Parties will be there everyday from 2:15pm to 3:00pm in the Great Hall!

We have seen PLENTY during all our years of of discoing… but it’s safe to say we have NEVER seen an alien slide onto the dance floor, grab a completely unaware adult human-being (who was just enjoying ‘Call Me Maybe’) and then stop mid kidnapping to ask DJ Sam I Am and DJ Goldie for a photo!
Strange day but always happy to meet a fan. Extraterrestrial or not.

Isn’t AFL Grand Final Week just one of the great weeks in Melbourne?
Honestly what’s not to love…

🎉Grand Final Parade and a Public holiday on Friday
🏉The actual Grand Final at 2:30pm on Saturday (Go Pies!)
AND
Starting Wednesday the AFL Footy Festival is HERE.
From Wednesday to Saturday Kids Disco Parties have been invited to do what we do best on the Main Stage and at the Beats by AFLW Booth for the Footy Festival 2023!
With all of our DJs getting involved make sure you come and say hi and have a dance! We’re there everyday! Tonnes of things to do with the whole family and it’s FREE!

Well this was a lovely piece of feedback to start the week!

“We used kids disco parties for our daughter’s 8th birthday at home. Without exaggerating it was the best party we have ever hosted! From the initial enquiry, to the actually event the whole thing was first class! The DJ had the kids engaged the whole time and my daughter is still raving about it!”

Our rough maths suggests that there are 42846923 songs that have the word “one” in it. Here DJ Yaz-zy is belting out one of those songs (most likely Starships) with over 100 prep students celebrating their 100th Day of School.

This picture taken at the Family Disco has everything and we love it!
A lovely chandelier, DJ Nate dancing up a storm, the kids following his every move, our lights and sound system creating the perfect vibe, parents and guardians watching their kids having a blast and of course a fairy!
Said it before and I’ll say it again.
We love what we do. And we always bring the disco!

For the past 5 years Kids Disco Parties have run 13 discos for the amazing students and community at Geelong Grammar School. Here students from three campuses across Victoria came together for a day of connection, creativity and creation! The fact we were asked to be apart of the day is something we are so grateful for! The smiles, dances moves and laughter says it all! We love what we do!
