The BBQ Roadshow Low'n'Slow food truck will be popping up at St Stradbroke , 1/9 Ballow Rd, Dunwich, North Stradbroke Island on Saturday 23rd December from 10am - 8pm and Sunday 24th December from 10am - 6pm.

Friday 8th December, 5pm - 8pm, BBQ Roadshow Low'n'Slow Food Truck Pop-up at 15A Goodwin Street, Kangaroo Point (Fire Kitchen + Bar - formerly Frida Kahlo's Summer House)

We've had a last minute cancellation for tomorrow (Friday 8th December) and so our BBQ Roadshow Low'n'Slow food truck is now available on one of the busiest days of the year. Rather than cry over it we have decided to do a pop-up at our soon to open restaurant site from 5pm to 8pm.

We serve delicious, juicy smoked meats (12hr brisket, 9hr pulled pork, Cajun chicken, beef & pork ribs), cheeseburgers, beef & pork ribs, wings, sausages and even a veggie burger that can be made vegan on request. PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: The food trucks are coming to VMR Shorncliffe from 11am - 2pm on Sunday 11th June 2023.

Wear your stretchy pants as BBQ Roadshow Low'n'Slow will be serving our Texas BBQ smoked meats (12hr brisket, 9hr pulled pork, spicy chicken), burgers, beef and pork ribs, chicken wings, hot dogs, mac'n'cheese and even a veggie burger that can be made vegan on request. Come support the wonderful work done by Volunteer Marine Rescue by gorging on some awesome food washed down with a few crafties! Our Story

Launched in 2014 the WFM team consists of Julian & Shannon D'Souza a husband and wife duo that have travelled extensively around the world following their two passions culture and food. Julian has over 20 years of hospitality and events experience with his greatest passions in life being food, culture and football. His varied experience in the food industry, business acumen and street smarts see him effectively running WFM as he understands food, people, personalities and venues. Shannon is the 'ideas' person and the creative partner in the equation. Shannon's background in design and creative arts enables her to innovate, conceptualise, design and coordinate events and festivals within WFM. The WFM team may differ in personalities and tastes but good food and wine enjoyed with good company and laughter is one of the important things we have in common. Being a small business ourselves we always support other local and small businesses. We have extensive operational & management knowledge with a keen focus on business networking, sales & marketing. We have a lot of experience running events from concept planning right through to reporting stages. We were involved with major events 20+ years back and after focusing on our hospitality & interior design careers respectively for a few years, we have now organized and supported a number of events with The World Food Markets over the past 5 years including a few with Brisbane City Council & Logan City Council.
