We watched the changing weather sweep across the East Gippsland valley and we held our collective breath.
Then it was GO time!
As the bride stepped in to place alongside her groom, the wind whipped up from the valley and took off with her veil - but never fear, our trusty host Rainer leapt into action and retrieved it just shy of a cow pad!!
This venue has the most breathtaking views that it was hard to concentrate on the job at hand.
Much laughter, a few beautiful tears and they were married. ❤️❤️
Then came the bells, the guests were given a bell each to ring in the newlyweds and what a charming sound it was hear as they walked back up the aisle together.
Thank you to the amazing team at Chapter Barn & Studio
in Outtrim and first time working with photographer Petite Visuals - Morgane Cazaubon

One bride, six cars, why not!
When the groom collects classic cars what better way to showcase them than in a bridal car convoy.
Which one did the bride choose?
Perfect Spring day for a wedding in North East Victoria after a week of unprecedented rainfall.

Love it when couples can include their much-loved fur-baby in their big event. Introducing George! He sat quietly throughout the ceremony and then took pride of place in the group photo. ❤️

Sensational location with breathtaking views. It may have been an Autumn day but the temperature was a summer feel at 35deg. Thankfully the wind kept it a few degrees cooler. So much to love about working with Jo and J, they were just so easy going. Ellie from .gippsland was the perfect business partner today making it all so stress free.

A few minutes with the Groom and his Groomsmen to just check in on how they are feeling; good opportunity to check buttonhole flowers are secured and suits are presented correctly and of course to check that the rings are in situ! Love this photo of Vinnie and his support crew

Paris and Vinnie hold their family in high regard, so much so that they dedicated their ceremony to a generation often overlooked - their Grandparents both passed and present. They acknowledged their wisdom in showing them the importance of communication, forgiveness and perseverance for a long and successful marriage. They both share strong family values which will underpin a lifetime of happiness ❤️❤️

The location was a delightful chapel built in 1878 and hasn’t seen a wedding for nearly two decades. But todays gorgeous couple injected life, love and laughter in to the old bones. The bride looked like a princess and the groom with his besties looked very dapper. Perfect Autumn day and was great to work with local photographer Bec

Back at this fabulous venue for an intimate but none-the-less significant ceremony of a couple whom I’ve known for a few years. It was an honour to tell their story and marry these beautiful peeps. Angie from was an absolute legend and kept us all on track.

Todays ceremony was fun overload; from cowboy boots and Akubra hats to the brides bestie moonlighting as a 2 metre tall inflatable dinosour. That was a first for me! And it wasn’t just the bride who responded with “I do” there were six other responses from the brides besties 🤣🤣

That’s a wrap from me with my last ceremony on a private property surrounded by friends and family from Australia and overseas. Such a fun way to close out a year of working with beautiful couples and amazing suppliers. Thank you all for putting your trust in me and I’m looking forward to a fabulous 2023.

Guests of Melissa and Aaron were swept up in the romance of the gardens as the gentle, slow passing by of a punt on the lake. The stormy clouds parted just long enough for the sun to shine down on our beautiful couple and their guests. First time working with photographer and videographer

That small window before the bride arrives is my opportunity to liaise with amazing suppliers chosen by our couple, .entertainment. It’s also my time to check in with the groom and his support team; check sunglasses and phones are out of sight, suits have been ‘unstitched’ and buttonholes are secured. This week the amazing florist gave me a game changing tip on how to secure those at times, pesky button hole flowers. Congratulations to Catie and Zane on a memorable day where the sun shone through the grey Spring clouds.

Nothing says wedding more than a bride wearing Louboutin shoes ❤️ - the bride and her gals braved the chilly Spring weather and looked gorgeous as they walked through the stunning gardens of Baxter Barn. Changing it up by grabbing a selfie with the ladies.

My boxing buddy married the love of her life on the family property. It was such an honour to officiate and witness vows, lots of heightened emotion and a good deal of laughter being exchanged under the threat of rain clouds. Their fur babies played an important part of the procession and contributed appropriately throughout the ceremony. The groom and his groomsmen were so much fun to hang with as we waited for the rain to clear.

What an entertainer - perfect fit for the ceremony and then the energy level was off the scale for the reception. The tunes didn’t stop and neither did the dancing.

Phillip came to me today,
and said it was time to go.
I looked at him and smiled,
as i whispered that "I know"

I then turned and looked behind me,
and seen I was asleep.
All my Family were around me,
and I could hear them weep.

I gently touched each shoulder,
with Phillip by my side.
Then I turned away and walked,
with My Angel guide.

Phillip held my hand,
as he lead the way,
to a world where King's and Queens,
are Monarch's every day.

I was given a crown to wear
or a Halo known by some.
The difference is up here,
they are worn by everyone.

I felt a sense of peace,
my reign had seen its end.
70 years I had served my Country,
as the peoples friend.

Thank you for the years,
for all your time and love.
Now I am one of two again,
in our Palace up above.

What a way to close out my Winter wedding season; I had the honour of officiating the wedding of my awesome nephew and his gorgeous bride.
It was a perfect day on all levels, the amazing weather, the picture perfect views from a tick-all-boxes venue with an easy-going professional photographer in and the toe-tapping tunes were provided by none other than
Being involved in family weddings - the best!
Thank you and James - big love ❤️

22 deg and not a breath of wind - a perfect Autumn day for a ceremony where the Gippsland views stretch to the horizon. A cheeky pic with the groom-in-waiting to settle his nerves just before his beautiful bride entered with the ‘building inspector’ aka Dad.
