“We hired Heart and Soul Events Co. for on the day co-ordination (Hidden Bridesmaid Package). My husband and I were unsure whether to organise a coordinator or to try to do everything ourselves. Hiring Diana for the wedding was the best decision we made! Diana took so much pressure and stress off us coming up to the wedding and on the day. All the little things you do not think of that need to be coordinated, organised and planned for - Diana was all over it. Heart & Soul did all the styling on the day and it turned out more beautiful than we had envisioned. If you were on the fence about getting a wedding planner, we would highly highly recommend doing so. If you were like us, and on a tight budget, the hidden bridesmaid package is worth all its money and affordable!”

Weddings are a celebration of love, union, and new beginnings - and our team at Heart & Soul have had the great honor of witnessing countless beautiful moments that make these events so special. We asked our team what their favourite moment at a wedding is… an impossible task but they seemed up to the challenge hehe

Diana:

It is impossible to pick just one!!

**I’d have to say what’s sticks in my mind when thinking favourite moments from this season’s weddings, is seeing all 120 guests roaring with energy for Nina and Dylan’s wedding reception entrance at their outdoor summer reception at the stunning UWA Sunken Gardens. It was a balmy night and guests were enjoying the scenery, the evening party and great company waiting for the couple to join them. With the help of their MC myself and Sidney had guests join together to form a tunnel stretching the entire length of the gardens. Each of the bridal party followed by the couple were welcomed in and crawled the whole length of their guests, with the talented team leading the way! Not only was it the best thing to witness being a part of, but it was really great to see so many people joining together after the crazy last few year’s of Covid where this wouldn’t’ have bene possible. It really made me appreciate being there, to witness moments like this is an honour and a real part of what makes me happy as a wedding planner 😊**

Sidney: I love it when the newlyweds re enter the reception & everyone is so ecstatic and excited to see the new bride and groom. Especially at one wedding, We had them go through a tunnel and everyone was cheering, it was such a joy filled moment!!

Gabby: My favouurite part is when guests start to hit the dance floor. All of the formality of the day goes out the window, haha. Ties loosened, heels taken off and just 100% good times. Literally, so fun watching this unfold and seeing everyone letting their hair down and just have a boogie.

Introducing Gabby!

Gabby is a dedicated and passionate events queen! She started her journey in the events industry back in February 2020, just before the pandemic hit the world. Despite the lockdowns and restrictions that followed, Gabby was determined to gain experience and was eager to start helping couples plan their special days.

After doing some research, Gabby found Heart and Soul, had a coffee date and the rest is history. Since then, she has gained invaluable experience and has contributed to making countless weddings and events truly unforgettable. She is always willing to go above and beyond to make sure that our clients have the perfect day!

When she's not running around with a wedding cake or styling tables, you can find Gabby studying, creating Instagram reels, or cooking up some delicious pasta.

We're thrilled to share with you Kate and Kenneth's beautiful winter wedding at Stables Bar! This couple's love story was honoured through personal touches and a nod to their Scottish heritage, making for a moody and romantic celebration.

From the moment we met Kate and Kenneth, we knew their wedding day was going to be magical. They wanted a simple and intimate atmosphere, and Stables Bar provided the perfect backdrop with its warm and rustic charm. The ceremony was held in the courtyard, and the couple exchanged heartfelt vows in front of their closest family and friends.

The reception was a true reflection of their personalities and style, with an emphasis on good food, great wine, and lots of dancing!

We can't help but smile when we think back on Patrick and Lasheta's wedding day at Perth City Farm! This couple brought so much joy, energy, and authenticity to every aspect of their celebration, and working with them was an absolute delight.

From the moment we began planning, Patrick and Lasheta’s had a clear vision of what they wanted for their wedding day: a fun, laid-back celebration that reflected their personalities and the love they share. We were thrilled to help them bring this vision to life, and the result was a day that was simply unforgettable.

Perth City Farm provided the perfect backdrop for this celebration with its lush gardens and rustic charm. The ceremony was held in the stunning Perth City Farm Art Room under a gorgeous arbour adorned with the most stunning florals and greenery. As the couple exchanged heartfelt vows, their love radiated throughout the venue.

Hey there!

I'm Diana, and I'm the creator and director of Heart and Soul Events. As an English girl with a background in hospitality, I've been working and organizing events in Perth for over 12 years now. After spending so much time organizing functions and events at some of Perth's most spectacular venues, I decided it was time for a new challenge! That's when Heart and Soul and The Hidden Bridesmaid came into existence in 2017!

I wanted to create a service that took a more concierge and custom approach to coordination and wedding planning. My goal was to assist people in creating events that exceeded their expectations. But most importantly, I wanted to bring a down-to-earth and personable approach to our services.

One of my biggest passions is creating fun and cohesive events with style.

When I'm not working, you can find me enjoying some good wine and food, hanging out at the beach, spending time with my toddler, and if time allows, practicing some yoga!
