Our top networking tips to get you started…

* Get out & meet people! Get out of your comfort zone & go to networking events
* Work the floor … Don’t sit down on arrival & don’t network with people you see regularly - you’re all there to make new connections
* Don’t sell - have a good pitch ready about you and what you do, an easy way to introduce yourself
* It’s Not About You.... listen to people MORE than you speak about yourself - be interested in who you are talking to
* Exchange business cards or contact details & follow up after the event with people you think you made a good connection with
* Networking is about building relationships — the network — and a good network will pay major returns in the form of new customers, partners and opportunities. Get out there and meet people, but make sure you’re meeting people the right way.
