Flower market find: beautiful Bouvardia 💕 These dainty, star-shaped blooms don't often grace us with their presence at Floraly HQ, so when Leah brought us some from the markets of course we had to take a picture (or two... or ten).
Not only is our Gemma bouquet oh-so pretty to look at, she’s also pretty long-lasting. Check out the average lifespan of some of her key blooms:
🌸 Lisianthus - 10 to 14 days
🌸 Statice - 1 to 2 weeks (also dries beautifully)
🌸 Chrysanthemums - 2 to 3 weeks
🌸 Anthurium - up to 4 weeks
Of course, the longevity of these flowers will depend on how well you care for them. To get the most out of your Gemma bouquet, or any bouquet, make sure you change the vase water, wash out the vase and trim the stems regularly.
Plus, be sure to remove any wilting flowers as they appear. Sadly they won’t all last the same length of time, but just because one stem has reached the end of its life doesn’t mean you have to throw the whole bouquet away.
