Atleast a couple of times a week, a "new" Stylist or Influencer , who 99% of the time don't even follow Epic Installs, decides they want to reach out for some FREE streamers, in exchange for "exposure".
The tardiness and unprofessionalism of their messages usually baffle me, and I say no thanks.
I'm not thinking about the "exposure". It normally doesn't bother me what it is - I think about the hours it took myself and my paid staff to make the streamers. I think about the petrol costs and taking hours out of my day to come setup the event. I think about the hours I've lost where I could be doing something more productive.
I think about the packup the next day, the driving to the warehouse and unpacking all the stock and putting it away.
Being tagged in an account with 100K followers does not pay my bills. It does not pay my staff. And generally after 24 hrs the buzz dies off.
