I interrupt the usual feed of wedding stuff to reintroduce myself.

If you’re new here my name is Hannah Coffey. I’m a Texas born, Morocco raised world traveler. I’m a big fan of happy older music (the Beatles, the temptations, baba…). I’ve been organising events for about 7 years which is my favourite job I’ve ever had!

That handsome man in the picture is my wonderful husband. He genuinely makes me so mad because not only is he a handsome, a freaking amazing husband and dad but he’s also athletic and smart. Honestly so frustrating to be married to the full package. 😆👌

And that not so little girl is Zoe. She’s the most independent shadow I’ve ever had. She wants to do everything with me…but I’m her own way and time. Also, she inherited my sass which I find super funny but try to hide it.

Often the master of ceremony (MC) is an afterthought but it should not be!

The MC is in charge of:
- Setting the Tone: They are responsible for introducing speakers, traditions, or activities, and their energy and demeanor can influence the overall mood of the day.
- Facilitate the Flow: A skilled MC helps maintain a smooth flow of the event, ensuring that transitions between different segments are seamless. This contributes to the overall success of the event and enhances the experience for attendees.
- Engaging the Audience: An effective MC knows how to connect with the audience, keeping them entertained, informed, and engaged throughout the wedding. This ability is vital for creating a positive and memorable experience for everyone.

Can a friend be a great MC? Absolutely! But you have to pick the right person and who that is will be different depending on the environment you are trying to create on your wedding day.

I love when my couples show their personalities, story and interest on their wedding day! showed her love of animals by taking their bridals at Bundoora farm and reconnecting with her Guinea pig.
Not only were the photos STUNNING but it’s also a way to incorporate special elements on your big day.
