Supporting both health and sustainability, I’ll soon be phasing out traditional funeral wreaths. These arrangements use florist foam, which breaks down into harmful, toxic microplastics. Instead, I’ll offer beautiful, eco-friendly flower sheafs and bouquets for meaningful tributes wrapped in beautiful kraft paper.
As a solo florist, I may be just one person, but I’m determined to make a difference. If each of us chooses even one small positive change, imagine the world we could live in. I’ve already removed florist foam from my daily arrangements and am phasing it out from weddings and events.
For funeral tributes, it’s time to let go of this material completely. I only have a few foam wreaths and crosses left, and once they’re gone, I will no longer be selling them. While I may still use foam sparingly for casket and coffin sprays, I’ll always prefer and seek out other environmentally conscious methods.
Thank you for embracing these positive changes with me.
