The 2025 Mildura Field Days is fast approaching and for easy reference the following is the need to know info:-
Friday May 16th 9am to 5pm
Saturday 17st 9am to 4pm

Admission Price:
$10 per person
Aged Concession $5
Students & Children Under 18 - FREE

****Cash or EFTPOS at the gate*****

* EFTPOS is available for cash out at the Site Office once you are in the venue

*No Dogs or other pets please- the crocodiles may eat them.......

******Parking is located in the centre of the Racecourse. Please follow the signs & the directions from our friendly parking attendants*****

All of the fabulous entertainment & attractions at the event are included in the entry fee.

*Each paying adult will be entitled to a single entry ticket into the Gate Prize of a John Deere Mower from Haeusler's AS well as an entry ticket into the $1000 of fuel prize.

*Every child attending the event will be entitled to a single entry into the John Deere Kids Prize Pack.

If you are passionate about improving the events and festivals sector in Victoria, please follow the link and provide feedback.

The Australian Festival Association (AFA) are leading the case for simplifying the POPE (Places of Public Entertainment) scheme as part of the Department of Transport and Planning's (DTP) review.
The POPE scheme is a regulatory requirement under the Building Act 1993 and Building Regulations 2018, and while event safety is crucial, the current application process is often complex, inconsistent, and costly for organisers. This review is an important opportunity to:
Reduce ambiguity in requirements
Simplify and standardise permit processes
Improve consistency in regulatory oversight
To ensure the review reflects the needs of the events sector, the AFA is encouraging all stakeholders to participate in the POPE Review Survey. Your insights will help shape the review process and guide improvements that reduce red tape while maintaining essential safety standards.
We are particularly seeking input from the following stakeholder groups:
Organisers of events and festivals
Suppliers/contractors for events and festivals
Council events and festivals teams
Council regulators
State regulators
Non-government regulators
Other industry stakeholders
If you’d like to contribute, please complete the POPE Review Survey by 19 March 2025: This form has been created by Department of Transport and Planning's (DTP) and they will review the survey results.
