It is with the heaviest of hearts that I announce I'll be shutting down the retail space that Picottee Floral Design occupies in Greta.

Due to an unfortunate injury, I won't be able to continue with the physical requirements of running a full-time floristry store.

Fortunately, closing the store will have no impact on any of the rescheduled, current and future wedding and event enquiries! If anything it will allow me to focus 100% of my energy towards my incredible couples and events.

Please reach out, call me or email me at any time to enquire about flowers with any events you have coming up. I'm still here, I'm still wildly in love with Picottee and this incredible community who have supported Picottee these past 5 years. A community who also welcomed my team of incredibly talented florists who helped create and deliver exceedingly exceptional floral experiences.

So we aren't closing up and disappearing off the face of the earth! We are merely transforming into a new form of Picottee Floral Design. One that will better suit my physical capabilities while still allowing me to immerse myself in an industry I have loved for 16 years, and to deliver that experience to a community I love.

Hi! Hello! How are you! We’re still here 👋 We’ve missed you.

You might be wondering when we will be re-opening now with the new-new road map released earlier this week.

We are excited to announce that Picottee Floral Design’s grand re-entrance will be at the end of October, once kids return to school!! 🥳

While we will be operating with a few changes in place to keep our staff safe, we are excited to now be offering deliveries and click-and-collect Monday-Friday. We will have pre-made designs available for purchase with The Holy Cuppa and Prop That on Thursday-Sunday from 8am-11am.

So our advice is to all our flower loving customers is to please pre-order all flowers so we can have them ready for you to either pick up via our contactless click-and-collect, or organise to have them delivered locally.

We can’t wait to get back to doing what we love in the community we love! 💕🌸

Day 1 vs Day 5

They’re thirsty little darlings! I’ve had to refill the vase every day since day 2. I’ve been removing the stamens as soon as they are open enough to grab, and before they turn powdery. I’ve only used clean fresh water for top ups.
I will note, I’m reluctant to add any food source (sugar) to the vase as it encourages those beautiful big blooms to open a lot faster.
When you have lilies in the house remember it’s a marathon and not a sprint…to the green bin.

We are still operating on our lockdown times 8am till 11am Thurs to Sunday serving take away coffees, milk shakes and your fave slices and treats.
We still have a few goodies in our community share basket 🧺 so please take something if you need it or take some to someone else in need if they can’t pick it up.
We would love that others can pop a few items in the basket to share if you have surplus produce.

It is with a heavy heart that we inform you that Picottee will be closed from 9th August until further notice due to COVID-19.

We aim to support our staff as much as possible during this time.

To our booked wedding and event clients and loyal customers, fear not! This is purely for the preservation of Picottee. It is not through lack of support from our incredible community that see us temporarily hanging up our secateurs. Our families require us to be at home navigating the intricate art of home learning.
