D and H said I Do at Preston Peak Functions this afternoon. Lots of love and laughter especially laughter when they realised they really didn't have the rings. Thank goodness they were just in the cottage. And they had the cutest fkowergirl. Bec from Salt Studios Weddings got some gorgeous shots.

As a Celebrant when you get to marry a family member or friend it is just so special. Saturday was one of those days. Sandy was a former work colleague and I knew her wedding day would be so full of love and emotion. Their wedding day was postponed from April due to a health scare but nothing was stopping these two become husband and wife. What a day to be part of.

Yesterday was yet another beautiful country wedding. So much work went into building the two structures for the wedding. The rain did try to put a dampener on things but not a chance. Laura looked absolutely stunning as she walked in to marry her love Connor. Lots of love and laughter which Country Lei Photography will have captured perfectly. Normally I would be working with Laura at a venue as the coordinator so of course yesterday went off without a hitch.

Saturday I had the honour of marrying the most beautiful couple Kyle and Katelyn. We all agreed they were the easiest couple to work with and Katelyn did not stop smiling. Yesterday I had the most beautiful wedding on a family farm at Murphy's Creek. Up on the hill they built their Arbour. The sun coming through the trees was spectacular. Kyle and Jammy were just meant to be and I was blessed to share their love story. Best job

Yesterday was a stressful day for my couple worrying about the rain. Pulled into Bracknell Lodge ceremony set up outside with a beautiful rainbow overlooking us. Peter and Viktoria are such a fun couple with wicked sense of humours which kept us entertained throughout the ceremony. Their vows were WOW. Got to love a good love story and this sure was.

Easter Sunday saw me back in Dalby for Peter and Rebecca's wedding. Rebecca's family came from Sydney cooking up a feast and decorating the venue. Filipinos know how to cook a feast and you do not leave without some. So much love on the day for this wonderful couple

Yesterday I ticked another venue off my bucket list Jubri's Hideaway. What an absolutely stunning place. Scott and Lucie chose the Bali inspired garden. Sp peaceful. I got to share the ceremony with Scott's father David as he is now a retired Celebrant.

5 years ago I got the email telling me my registration had been approved i was officially a registered Wedding Celebrant Can't believe i am about to do wedding number 150. Covid restrictions for more than 2 of those was a curve ball. Joining The Celebrant Society and meeting the most beautiful and supportive people has helped me to learn and grow. I am loving this journey and getting to meet my couples and learning their love story than having the honour of sharing it. Best job in the world so so blessed. My soul mate my husband is my number one supporter. Plus I get to work at incredible venues with the absolute best vendors

Thursday I had my last wedding for 2023 and what a way to finish. Special, sentimental, so full of love, family and friends. My handsome nephew Trai married his just beautiful Steph and I was given the honour of being their Celebrant. He arrived with his twin brother in the Hilux that belonged to my Dad that they have restored, that started the emotions. Trai's sister Holly read a truly beautiful poem written ny their Mum, Kerry for the couple. Then came their vows, Wow and we finished with a message from little sister Josie who was in Fiji for Netball. This wedding day was just perfect and I will always be grateful that I was a part of it.
