POV: you hire a wedding filmmaker who values composition

Composition is king for me as a wedding videographer. As they say in film school, show don’t tell. I’ve always been led by visuals and music, they can say so much before the dialogue from your ceremony vows and speeches have even come into the fold.

Utterly enamoured with these two. I love the candour of their love, and that shines through in their gallery.

I’ve been graced with Araz and Jacob’s beautiful wedding on my editing screen this week and it’s been a lovely one to relive.

From a morning overlooking Manly beach with their closest family and friends, a ceremony filled equally with excitement and emotion, to a sunlit cliffside stroll and a dance floor that never took a beat — ABBA wrote ‘Dancing Queen’ for you, Araz.

After the music had stopped and the venue had emptied, this little trio drove back to where it all started and shared these moments while taking in the joyous day that will forever remain immortal in image.
