Bendooley Estate is the perfect location to host a wedding, corporate event or special function. This landmark property is located in the Southern Highlands just 90 minutes from Sydney. Set on 200 acres, it comprises of many magical options for your function. From the converted book barn, operating as a book shop housing over 100,000 books during the day and in the evening converts into an event

space for up to 140 guests . To the original 200 year old homestead built from convict-hewn sandstone and facing a "picture perfect" lake and surrounded by rose gardens. The homestead is perfect for the most intimate of functions of up to 50 guests on the verandah, or up to 20 guests inside its dining room set by the fireplace. The Results of the 2024 Boutique Wine Awards are out and we are thrilled to have received a trophy for our 2023 Shiraz.

Established in 1996 and celebrating its 29th year, this prestigious event received 815 entries from all corners of Australia & New Zealand.

The overall caliber of entries received was without a doubt the highest ever seen, and the winners are nothing short of exceptional. With the 3rd highest number of entries ever recorded, the competition was fierce, and the judges had their work cut out for them. However, with the expertise of the 10 best wine minds in the country and the leadership of Toni Paterson MW, the awards have been hailed as the best to date. This year’s winners represent the very best of the boutique wine industry in Australia and New Zealand, and their success is a testament to their dedication and passion for producing exceptional wines.
