Spirited Events is borne from a love and passion for music, specifically Devotional, World and Sacred, and the positive and transformational affect it has in people's lives. We are committed to providing quality music events on the North Coast NSW (and occasionally beyond!), and connecting you with other events we hear about. Today is Vasant Panchami - Saraswati Puja - A day for honouring Goddess Saraswati - Goddess of knowledge, speech, patron of arts, music, philosophy, creativity, wisdom and learning.
I'm taking a quiet moment to whisper her a prayer for my future, and offer gratitude for past blessings... may we all be happy...

Coming up next weekend, House of Bliss Kirtan meet on the auspicious day of Hanuman Jayanti - celebrating the birth of Hindu deity Hanuman, with mantras to Hanuman, Sita & Ram.
Hanuman is known as the monkey god, who is wholly devoted to Rama (and therefore Sita) and is the true embodiment of Shakti/Bhakti (strength and devotion).
We'll be sharing stories of Hanuman's adventures and chanting to invoke the qualities of Hanuman into our hearts and lives!

Images of last week's greening role at Embodying Psychadelia Festival at Mt Tambourine... We enjoyed creating these lovely (& large!) arrangements, adding to the beauty of this event, which wove together seamlessly with the beautiful altar creator, Elfie! Some images of handiwork! ###
