Their ground-breaking work has been recognized as one of the "Top Ten" Milestones in the history of solar photovoltaics.

💡 Notably, Prof. Green's invention of the PERC solar cell in 1983, developed to its full potential by his team, has had a profound impact on the industry. In fact, these innovations accounted for a staggering 91.2% of worldwide silicon solar module production in 2021, according to CPIA data.
