39 weddings, one amazing year, and a whole lot of gratitude! 🥰 2024 has been massive for Short Flix Media – not just with our couples, but in our personal lives too, as we adjusted to life with our little bub (turns out we were already pros at no sleep! 😂). We’re so thankful to every couple who trusted us and to everyone who liked, shared, or commented on our work. Your support means the world to us. Mikayla & Liam’s wedding brought together family, laughter, and a cheeky small-town rivalry. 🏉❤️ The men in Mikayla’s life weren’t exactly thrilled when they found out where Liam was from—her uncle (and godfather) Rod, even had one rule: ‘Never, ever, ever bring home a bloke from Barcaldine.’But after a solid three-hour chat (without a single drink in hand!), he was ready to marry Liam himself! 😂 And Mikaela’s Dad, Brad? A first date, a locked car park, and now a forever together 🚗🔒🥰 Nick and Brooke’s story began ten years ago with a little nudge from their mutual friend (and now bridesmaid), Abby. After some back-and-forth chit chat, they met up at the mighty Great Western for a rodeo! The rodeo led to their first official date - a trip to the movies. True to form, Nick showed up with a cheeky grin and a little late! Then the night ended in equal parts laughter and concern, as they tried to get Brooke’s car out the locked car park at Stockland. Fast forward a few years, and they celebrated that same joyful spirit with a perfect wedding at The Paddock in Yeppoon.
