From a melon-filled “yes” to a Friday afternoon “I do!” Jess & Hamish’s perfect Bunnyconnellen day 🍉✨

When Hamish’s mum accidentally stumbled across a receipt for an engagement ring, she quickly folded it back up and pretended she hadn’t seen a thing. 💍🤫

With Christmas just around the corner and the whole family back home, everyone was quietly waiting for him to pop the question… but then nothing happened.

New Year’s came and went, and Hamish’s mum had just about given up hope. But then came the Chinchilla Melon Festival; not the kind of place you’d expect a proposal - but the perfect spot for Hamish to take a knee. After all, it’s where he and Jess first met and fell in love.

Fast forward to their wedding day: a golden Friday afternoon, and plenty of love. Hamish and Jess sealed the deal in the most perfect way; celebrated with good company, and that trademark Bunnyconnellen view 😍

Sarah and Sam put the perfect bow on theirs with a Friday ceremony at the grand St Patrick’s Cathedral in Toowoomba. After the formalities, it was on to The Ridge for good food, great company, and plenty of celebrating well into the night!

We kicked off our 2025 weddings with a beautiful afternoon at Melrose Station yesterday, and waking up to this view this morning was the cherry on top! Not a bad office for the morning! 📷

39 weddings, one amazing year, and a whole lot of gratitude! 🥰

2024 has been massive for Short Flix Media – not just with our couples, but in our personal lives too, as we adjusted to life with our little bub (turns out we were already pros at no sleep! 😂).
