Read all about our newest Real Bride’s feature, our gorgeous couple Amanda and Bryan who tied the knot on the 18th of November 2023 at the trendy coffee roasters, Commonfolk Mornington on the stunning Mornington Peninsula.
Belle et Blanc bride ‘Amanda’ came into our bridal store and picked out the stunning ‘Asuka’ fit and flare wedding dress, Amanda tells us how she came to choose her gown, “Amanda tells us, “I came to look at dresses with some friends and tried on a few but went back to my first choice, the Asuka gown. Then I found out it was on sale and it was the perfect fit, it was meant to be! The fitting process was so smooth with the ladies, from getting the right hemming length and allowing me to record how to lace up the dress for my mum, who wasn’t there, was very helpful.”

The entire wedding was planned by a wonderful team of Queenstown based wedding planners, who love adventure. Mountain Weddings specialise in gorgeous mountain top elopements, with helicopters as the main mode of transport. It’s an epic way to say I Do!
Belle et Blanc bride ‘Mel’ came into our bridal store and picked out the stunning ‘Liana’ fit and flare wedding dress, Hanh tells us how she came to choose her gown, “I visited about fifteen different shops looking for my dress. I didn’t like any I tried on, until I went to Belle et Blanc and found my dress! Donna, my bridal consultant was incredible, she was so fun and friendly, I loved my gown and my experience with Belle et Blanc.” Mel also customised her Doc Martin shoes, to purple glitter, to match her hair on the wedding day, for a fun, creative touch!“

Upon our visit to Belle et Blanc we were warmly received by Anna, my bridal consultant. She was so kind, gentle and really knowledgeable in the dresses,she great advice and made the experience extremely special. When I had slipped on the dress I chose for the wedding, I was overwhelmed with emotion, tears were definitely shed because it felt like second skin. It felt like it was meant for me and spoke to my personality and what I had envisioned.”

I received so many compliments abut how beautiful the dress was on my wedding day.”

Belle et Blanc bride ‘Louise’ came into our bridal store and picked out the stunning ‘Rosalina’ wedding dress, a gorgeous princess gown in sumptuous satin. Louise tells us, “It was by chance, actually! I was down in Melbourne visiting family and friends, and I decided to have a look around the Sydney Road Bridal Precinct in Brunswick. I stumbled across the store and was drawn to the quality of the dresses. Well, I had tried on perhaps 50 or more lace, princess style gowns before I tried on the Rosalina. I only tried it on because it was suggested to me by the lovely bridal consultant Sara, and I was reluctant to try it on. It was totally out of my comfort zone and what I thought I wanted. Immediately, everyone around me loved it, so I had feedback from others before I could even adjust to the thought of a satin gown. I am forever indebted to my bridal consultant, Sara now! It felt very different in my wedding gown, more glamorous than anything else I had tried. I loved the cinched waist and long train, it had a Grace Kelly look to it. It was traditional, but the split gave it a modern edge.”
