Hear me out. Let’s be honest sparklers tunnels are pretty cool and look amazing on film and stills. Although they are one of the hardest things to organise on the wedding night for a few reasons. 1. Guest are having so much fun at this stage and can’t hear a thing over the crowd noise. 2. Everyone’s been drinking for a while and feeling a little too confident in their abilities. 3. The sparklers needs to bit lit up at the same time to achieve the tunnel look. 4. Your space is too small so there isn’t enough room to create a wide enough tunnel for the couple. 5. Venue restrictions on sparklers. However that doesn’t mean you can’t achieve a successful sparkler tunnel. Keep reading for a few suggestions & tips.1. Have 1! Yes 1 person calling the shots and organising the tunnel. This is usually the MC or a member of venue staff’s job. We don’t want too many cooks in the kitchen causing confusion. (the crew at @malenymanor do a wonderful job!)2. Buy the EXTA LONG at least 70cm version of sparklers. We don’t want them going out while you’re walking down. 3. Give the guests one sparkler each as they exit the venue. 4. Check with the venue restrictions, this can be a fire hazard. Choose a location wide enough so you can walk down without the sparklers feeling too close. 5. Group light the sparklers. Break the tunnel is equal parts and light groups at a time by the TIPS while each guest is holding their own. DO NOT HOLD THEM IN A BUNCH, bad things have happened. Work your way down the tunnel from start to finish. Don’t allow guests to light their own. 6. Most importantly have fun, dance and take your time coming down. The extra long sparklers last ages.Bonus tips:1. In stead of having a sparkler exit have a sparklers entry, this will also save you $$ on the photo/video team staying back longer. 2.
