Swing A Billy Ray and Lucky Seven (Adelaide) team up again to bring you a swingtastic night of dancing. This band is the most dynamic band bringing their energy, style and cheekiness to the stage. All your danceable favs will be playing so expect to never leave the dance floor.

Birthday dance tonight at Swing On in Gold Coast for this s***k!

This is how our say started!

Tumble out of bed and I stumble to the kitchen
Pour myself a cup of ambition
And yawn and stretch and try to come to life
….. well sort of but not really. This morning It was more like stumble out of bed and fall into the shower midway through washing my hair I realise I was already five minutes late for a meeting with the counsellor about Grant funding for our charity beauties feeling fabulous! Leapin out of the bath drying myself barking orders to Ray to put this in that in the car ready for me to zoom off !! meeting success only to realise that it was my husband’s birthday. I didn’t even so much is giving him a kiss and a happy birthday. .. I’m such a bad wife ha ha ! All my love to you Ray Keepence 28 years and all these birthdays later we are still there for each other even if it means no present card or acknowledgement in that moment!!

Further details to come but one thing we guarantee you: it will be equal to if not more fabulous than last year with a line up of talent, exquisite supper and a decadent ball worthy of all the bells and whistles! In addition to the pampering we offer through, massage, nails, make up, hairdressing, holistic therapies and facials we offer a safe space to offload the weariness that comes with living with cancer in todays world often alone and afraid, A place for networking and knowledge gathering that helps women to walk out with more information, comfort and feeling fabulous again even for just a little while.

BFF also provide comfort through our free Poncho service. We hand make with love, soft ponchos to give to our lovely ladies when having surgeries so they are warm, comforted and have free access for their drains and drips - A genius little thing that makes recovery so much easier!

A great interview today with ABC Gold Coast with Bern Young talking about SWING On In and Cooly Rocks On Festival and our love and passion for Lindy Hop! I hope you can feel the joy and the sparkle in my eyes as I speak about this amazing dance and the dance & festival culture here on the Gold Coast.

I really wish I could bottle this feeling and give it away freely to everyone to drink in the goodness so they too were inspired and ignited to get up on the dance floor and dance. Good for the soul, good for your mental health, good for your fitness & health benefits and so good for the social engagement.
