Introducing our very special guest - Allegra (Ally) Bottrell-Thorburn.

Ally will be hosting and MC for the Country at Coomie from September 16th to the 20th and at Club DaVinci on September 21st.

Ally is the daughter of the late Max Thorburn - the Founder of the Mildura Country Music Festival (over 30 years ago) and also the Founder of the Mildura Community Radio Station HOTFM.

CRN manager Martin Walters called him “a great supporter of community radio, in particular initiatives that served country music audiences.”

The Australian Country Music Broadcasters, which inducted him into its Hall of Fame, hailed him as “a country music legend”.

Ally will be presenting a tribute to her Dad, Max this evening at the opening of "Country at Coomie" at the Coomealla Memorial Sporting Club.
