Would you believe this is a WINTER wedding? This was mid December in Florence - perfect blue skies and sunshine.

This year we have seen an increase in winter weddings within Italy - given the global soar in costs of living and travel, it’s hardly surprising some couples are opting for off season weddings to maximise their budgets.

Whilst some regions of Italy are closed in the winter (mainly coastal locations), Florence is still full of life, markets, restaurants and beauty. It makes for a great winter wedding location! Plus you get Christmas trees in your photos - what’s not to love?! ❤️

The Grand Exit…
After 3 days of non stop celebrations, we held a Champagne Farewell Toast for the newly weds. Little did guests know the lovely couple would be leaving the event via helicopter. So fun! 🤩

In honour of the Grooms Indian Hertiage, our Bride & Groom invited guests to a fabulous fusion Indian-Italian feast and celebration

Dinner at the Crypt is a special location due to its incredible architecture and open views.

Guests were immersed in clouds of hanging florals whilst we accessorised the table with gold rimmed plates, glassware and cutlery.

A limited stock D & G spaghetti tin favour and Italian recipe printed on handmade Amalfi paper along with stationery finished with gold leaf rims, tied that timeless elegance and luxurious feel all together perfectly.

The iconic Infinity Terrace at Villa Cimbrone all set up for a sunset ceremony.

The combination of 360 degree views of the coast line and dusk, made for a memorable ceremony. We styled the space to feel luxurious, elegant and modern with a stunning round arch and gold accent stools.

For this very Sicilian tablescape, we drew inspiration from the region:
- Pistacchio favours (pistacchio is famous in the region)
- Bright florals (incorporating the local florals you see all around the town)
- Testa di Moro (traditional hand painted Sicilian vases)

When choosing a location for your wedding, it’s a nice touch to include elements of the region in your styling as it creates authenticity.
