Tent & Tipi
Installation Crew

Welcome to the outdoor event specialists
- Casual positions with full training provided
- Room to grow into a more permanent position for the right person
- Working outside in various beautiful locations for weddings, festivals and special events.

What we do:
- Set up and take down Sperry Tents and Nordic Tipis
- Installation of event flooring, lighting & furniture
- Warehouse duties including loading and cleaning

We’re looking for:
- A reliable team player with an enthusiastic approach
- Keen, confident and able to undertake physically demanding work in all weather conditions.
- Practical skills, working with all types of hands on equipment

Advantage but not essential
- Ability to drive a trailer/truck
- Experience of temporary structures installation

SamiKata Events was born out of a jolly good time at the Glastonbury Music Festival in the early 2000s. A chance of rain led us down the Rabbit Hole into a fabulous Tipi set up and we knew instantly the day we left our corporate ivory towers that event life was for us. Whilst many are easily fooled by the glitz and glamour, event life is not for the faint hearted. Many a long day, early starts and late nights, skipped meals and extreme weather conditions. Over the last 10 years we have had an incredible team supporting our business, whether it’s family looking after the home front, our mighty crew in the field, our spectacular sales and marketing team and all the amazing vendors, venues, planners and event producers. We salute you! We thank all our clients and couples who have chosen us to create something spectacular for their wedding, special event or corporate entertainment by choosing the SamiKata Group. We are the original Australian Nordic Tipi company. Proudly, Australia’s exclusive Sperry Tent Agent and Event Hire Company.
