The Chipmunks Story
Founded in 1996 in Dunedin, NZ and now with 53 franchises across the Southern Hemisphere; 27 in Australia, 17 in New Zealand & 9 in Indonesia! All our indoor playgrounds offer some of the coolest play equipment in the country. Suitable for kids aged 0 - 11 years!
We want every experience at Chipmunks to be unforgettable. Thats why we work hard to develop & deliver the latest indoor play innovations, entertainment and service ensuring no two trips to Chipmunks are the same!
What kids want? FUN!
What kids need? EXERCISE!
At Chipmunks we give kids both in unlimited amounts and more! We can guarantee they'll be entertained for hours!
Kids are UNPREDICTABLE that’s why we created the 'pay for play' pass to give them unlimited play all day! Kids can climb, run, jump, spin and everything in between for as long as they can manage without you having to worry their “time will run out”. Of course they'll get hungry too! Our onsite cafe is conveniently located in view of the playground to refuel the whole family with delicious meals, snacks and drinks, healthy, gluten free choices and ALWAYS great coffee!
All our Chipmunks stores are designed with family friendly facilities including wheelchair access and baby change facilities so everyone can come and enjoy a day out! Of course FUN is important but SAFETY is our number ONE priority. Everything at Chipmunks is built to the highest safety standards and serviced by our highly trained and friendly staff so in the unlikely case of an emergency they’re on hand to assist! You can relax knowing your children are playing in a safe environment.
Did you know? We have designed the playground with 3 dedicated age zone areas. While the little ones are crawling or rolling around in the baby and toddler zone the BIG kids can run wild in our main zone!
Parents of younger children are welcome to get involved with their little ones learning by jumping in the Baby or Toddler Zone and helping them explore and find new things. You'll be surprised what kids come across and what they'll learn while playing at a Chipmunks playground. Got older kids? Our Main Zone is filled with play equipment, ride ons, jumping areas and ball pits which kids can spend hours exploring. And while they're busy you can relax and supervise from the cafe!
Active kids are healthy kids! At Chipmunks we encourage a balanced lifestyle. When kids play in our playgrounds they're not only learning, meeting other kids and having a great time but they're getting a great burst of exercise without even realising it! All kids have energy to burn so why not do it in while having fun and learning new skills with our interactive activities and equipment.
Celebrating a birthday or other special occasion? Our Birthday Party packages and Private Venue Hire options give you the choice to just turn up and have everything arranged by our expert staff or get VIP access to the whole facility so you can have the event you want with the freedom to self cater and decorate.
Rain or shine? Chipmunks is a place to escape the harsh Australian heat or keep dry from the rain. It doesn't matter whats going on outside there's always fun being had inside a Chipmunks Australia kids indoor playground!
