It's been a hot minute since I posted my own face on socials, anyone else avoiding it too?

We have had so many beautiful followers join our little community recently, and I thought a little reintroduction was in order.

5 Random and impractical facts about me:

🍀 I freaking LOVE pickles! The guy at Subway literally dubbed me as "Pickles," not Ash.

🌿 My middle name is Kate - that is where the K comes from (mind blown right!)

🍃 My random gift is that I am a thesaurus, I can give you 5 words for the word you're describing, but I am not a dictionary, absolutely useless there!

🌵 Creativity is calming... unless it's hot, or I'm hangry, or I'm tired... haha joking, I create no matter the circumstances.

🍃 I live with the joys of anxiety errryy day. But I have an incredible support network, so I am lucky not to face it alone.

I hope you enjoyed a little moment getting to know me.

I adore my incredible clients so very much, and it brings me such joy to know I can provide support, kindness, and reassurance throughout the journey together.

This day was filled with oodles of romance, lush blooms, and polished design, and it still makes us smile looking back on the images.

You wouldn't think it was 42° with crazy winds creating havoc, but we had a team of legends with us to ensure everything went smoothly and those blooms stayed alive.

// INSTALLATION CREATION // Clustered blooms, oodles of foliage and moody vibes for our beautiful Paige & Lachlan a few weeks back. All of the goodness sitting pretty Chateau Dore.

// WE DID A THING // This door may not look like much but to us it is relief, reprieve and represents a MASSIVE step forward for SBAK. We have been styling and floralling weddings for nearly 8 years (hooley dooley) and it has mainly been from my home. Beginning at the humble kitchen bench to then progress to a floristry table on the patio, a little stint subletting space with a lovely friend, to now a space to step into, create magical floral things and head home from. THIS is small business. A big step up from our 'normal' but nothing short of needed, desired and earnt after many years of 'making it work.' Here is to the next step of creating beautiful celebrations and after 18 months of insanity and uncertainty, we sre coming back with a BOOM!!! 💣💣 Strap In!! Ash K xx

Floralling up this event was truly an amazing experience; and with the EPIC lighting by Power AV and letters by The Big Light Letter Co. it came to life. Topping it off with amazing music by All The Kings Men to bring one heck of a night! Thank you Dillon Pearce Media for capturing this so beautifully.
