Regularly featuring at the Rainbow Room, he went onto DJing at Morwell Central becoming a resident DJ for their over 30's night. In 2015 he played his first gig at the GH Hotel which inspired him to enter the Rock City DJ comp to play at their up coming New Year's Day party. After winning the DJ Comp, DJ Craig Hemphill has become a sought after resident at Rock City parties. He has also featured at GH including for the Ru Paul Drag Race Grand Finale, Sircuit Bar in Melbourne and the highly successful DayWash parties in Sydney. He has now since 2015 also been support for the likes of Freemasons, DJ Grind, Wayne G and Samantha Jade.

Our Story

Craig Hemphill's passion for music started way back at high school when he would record Rage every weekend. Then make a mixtape for the school that week, with all the freshest top 40 hits.

Then after school, he would take up deejaying for local charity fundraisers and later be doing parties and 21st.

DJ Craig Hemphill started his latest reincarnation in 2012 as DJ Hempville. Regularly featuring at the Rainbow Room, he went onto DJing at Morwell Central becoming a resident DJ for their over 30's night.

In 2015 he played his first gig at the GH Hotel which inspired him to enter the Rock City DJ comp to play at their upcoming New Year's Day party.
