This cake has many different names like Greek Orange cake, semolina cake, halvas pudding just to name a few. Contains orange rind and juice, semolina, almond meal, with a lemon cinnamon syrup poured over the top of the cooked cake. Great for a birthday cake too. Serve with a dollop cream with tea and coffee.

Happy Birthday Steven!! When I was deciding what to make for my brother in-laws birthday, I knew another fruit wasn't going to happen. I was looking at Pintrest one day for some inspiration and I came across a recipe for a Charlotte Raspberry Cake, from Natasha's Kitchen (recipeis free) Due to time restraints, I took a short cut and bought a pre made Victorian sponge cake from my local supermarket. Overall, a very easy cake to make and the taste test along the way indicate this is going to be very yummy! Thanks Natasha.
