We're a small Canberra-local, family business - not a large corporation.
We're foodies ourselves, and we really care about what we serve.
Our priority is quality and flavour - so it’s all Real Food (no UPF’s)
Everything is hand-cooked by our chefs.
Each has their own speciality, so the meals are truly authentic.
We believe it’s important to have a good meal to look forward to at the end of the day and our focus is making that easy for everyone.
So we cook good, honest food.

Our Beef Bourguignon with Creamy Mash and Vegetables:
Pasture-fed beef is slowly braised traditionally with red wine (Burgundy) - along with the rich flavours of our chef's own home-made beef stock, ham hock, garlic, onions, mushrooms, tomatoes and herbs.
The meat is super tender (as you can see). It's served with mash potato, beans (French, of course!) and steamed carrots, and is a wonderful meal to come home to. As with all our meals, all you have to do is heat and eat.

Our pasta - all made by hand, as only an Italian can.
The ethos of Italian food - simplicity, a deep respect for food, and using the very best ingredients you can. And then knowing how to treat those ingredients - which takes knowledge, experience and care.

Our Italian chef is passionate (and possibly obsessive) about all of these steps. There's even a meter in the kitchen that measures the level of humidity, and the recipe for making the pasta changes slightly according to the levels that day.
All his recipes have been amended so that when the pasta is frozen, and then reheated, it remains just as perfect as when it was first made.

All this love and attention to detail really does show in his food. The flavour and texture of the pasta are second to none, and you can tell that the sauces have been tended to with care and slowly simmered to allow the flavours to develop and deepen, and for the meat to become beautifully tender.

All that attention means that there's nothing left for you to do. Just heat and eat. And enjoy!

Our Chilli con Carne - A milder version of the familiar Mexican favourite, with bags of flavour, but without too much heat. The chef has taken great care to let this gently bubble along whilst cooking, so that all the flavours slowly develop into a rich, deep meaty sauce. We've focussed on the flavour rather than pure heat, so for those who like it hot, we'd suggest just adding a dash or two of Tabasco or chilli oil to suit your own tastebuds.

Brioche Bread and Butter Pudding. In 2 flavours - classic vanilla, or cinnamon. Part of the range of puddings made by our baker.

All our meals are made the traditional way, by hand, using real food – no UPF’s or “food-like” substances. How real are the ingredients in this?

Brioche: Plain flour, eggs, castor sugar, salt, yeast, butter.
Plus - Milk, cream, eggs, castor sugar, raw sugar, vanilla/cinnamon

Dinner's Ready Meals are now available from the BP in Fyshwick (corner of Canberra Avenue & Ipswich St)
They have a good range of our meals ready to go in our freestanding freezer (right opposite the entrance).
Plus they have a microwave there so that you can heat and eat instantly. Perfect for a quick lunch on the run......

Our Dinner's Ready Butter Chicken - an Indian classic that's so mild the whole family can enjoy!
Tender, lean chicken is gently simmered in a mild curry sauce. This features a very generous portion of pure chicken (66%) for a high protein count.
