A very cosy wedding celebration this morning. Not out n the gardens but inside by the fire! Just right for the first winter season wedding. Then on to High Tea with the most beautiful music being played in the background! Congrats L & J, on your simply lovely "legals only" style wedding!

We were met with the most INCREDIBLY BEAUTIFUL back garden setting for our wedding ceremony yesterday...problem being, we weren't able to get out into it because of the heavy rain! Oh dear such a 'dampener'! Hopefully the sun shone later in the day, and they managed to get their wedding photos there!! Congrats M & A - husband and wife!

Do we still have brides out there who keep "treasure trove" boxes from their wedding day, to be 'rediscovered' next century??? Little must this bride have known that her wedding treasure trove from 1930's would 'resurface' so many years on! Fabulous story!
I kept a few small momentoes of our wedding day, in a box - sadly lost forever in 2003 Canberra bushfires!

Ivory gloves, dried roses, photos of the bride and groom and a wedding dress. It was someone’s life in a box but it nearly ended up as rubbish.
