After 20 years we decided to give our kitchen a bit of an overhaul - in particular the oven and glass stove top.
Rather than purchase a new unit, we contacted a professional company to give it a really good clean.

We contacted Ovenu ( contact details below ) who sent out Ken Acworth to do the job.

What a pleasant surprise: Ken arrived on time, was very professional, worked very cleanly and spent two hours meticulously cleaning every aspect of the oven.

The oven now looks like brand new and sparkling clean - see the photograph.
Well worth the money !

Ken also gave us some clever tips on increasing the life and the performance of the oven.

We can’t recommend Ovenu and Kensington enough - absolutely terrific.

Vale – Dark Knight Rises

Sadly, one of our imported thoroubred horses developed an abcess rupture in his lungs on the eve of his first Australian race.
That developed into Pleurtopneumonia and he had to be humanely euthanised yesterday ( Tuesday ).
Dark Knight Rises was a beautiful black 4 year old gelding imported from New Zealand and trained by Sam Freedman at Flemington.
He had two starts for one win and a fourth place and was showing lots of potential for some big races in Australia during the Spring Carnival.
We still have shares in 10 other thoroughbreds, however, Dark Knight Rises was showing so much potential this season.
So sad.

18 years ago today we set up our first home together as partners in life - later as husband and wife.
It has been a terrific journey together with lots of laughs - working together in the corporate world, then working together preparing and conducting over 1,000 Wedding Ceremonies and over 600 Celebrations of Life Services.
We were able to travel over all States of Australia together.
It has all gone far too quickly.
We have loving and supporting families.
Life doesn’t get any better - we do really have our Soul Mates.

16 years ago today I married the love of my life - the beautiful Patrizia - and she changed my life forever.
We are so compatible that we can live and work alongside each other 24 hours a day 7 days a week with no issues.
Life is good !
