The Last Hurrah for this little baby of mine, One Day Weddings & Events.
8 years ago I started this little business with the big goal of "if I could just do 3 weddings in a year I will be so happy". Well...that really snowballed.
The final toss of confetti has been swept, the cake cut, the feet are throbbing and we are out.
The 80 hour weeks, the 17hr days with 30,000 steps and 2am finishes have come to an end.
Thank you to my team, for working harder than I've seen people work, dealing with the unpredictable curve balls, high emotions and stress that a wedding can produce. My incredible vendors who are now friends and make this one of the best jobs ever. Thank you to all of our couples, for trusting us with your biggest day.
But the biggest thank you of all is to my husband, thanks for being the solo parent every weekend for the last 8yrs, for helping in every way possible, for loving me even when I was running on an empty tank and completely exhausted. Thank you. The kids can get their mum back now.

2024 and beyond.
To all our lovers,
Moving forward One Day Weddings & Events will be in the slow process of scaling back our Weddings before eventually wrapping up in 2024.
2023 saw us making the mindful decision to halve our bookings. Moving into 2024 and beyond we will not be taking on any further bookings.
The past 8yrs have seen us working with the most incredible couples, at some spectacular locations. Curating, designing and executing plans beyond our wildest dreams. To all of our vendors we have formed friendships with, thank you. Without you, our job would be 10x harder.
It's time for this mumma to give her weekends back to her family. The 17hr work days and 2am finishes will be coming to an end and hopefully I can give them a less-exhausted version of myself.
The next 8 months will see us focused purely on our existing couples and giving them everything we've got.

Catchya 2022. You were our biggest, busiest and most full on year to date. A reminder that we have closed our books for 2023. The beginning of 2023 will see us jumping head first into our 2023 couples planning and we can't wait to work with all our 2023 couples.

2023 Bookings update.
Our bookings for any new 2023 weddings are now closed. Whilst the first half of next year is stacked with weddings, we have made the decision to pull back on the quantity of weddings we produce in the second half of next year. The last 2 years of "Covid catch up" have well and truly caught up and we are excited to get back to a "new normal".
Please note we have not yet opened 2024 bookings and 2024 enquiries will have the ability to be waitlisted until we open our 2024 books.

Meet the Norton's.
Courtney & Harley said "I do" in their own backyard with 140 of their favourite people. Throw in 2 cheeky puppies, a questionable duck, Mother Nature who was feeling kind, fireworks and a marquee of guests who kept the party going until 3am and you have one hell of a celebration (and a lot of sore heads the next day).

Oh Hey 2023 couples!⁠
Did you know we cap our bookings each year? To ensure we are able to give our 100% to each of our incredible couples we only take on a set amount of bookings each year. Next year we are taking on less than usual to ensure quality over quantity. We are currently at 95% capacity for 2023 and once we are full, we're full!⁠
The first half of 2023 is completely booked and we have limited availability for the second half of the year.
