The Sidney Myer Music Bowl turns 65 today. Melbourne is so lucky to have this amazing venue. So many legendary concerts have been there. The first one I went to - ABBA in 1977. The largest one ever in Melbourne with The Seekers and 200,000 people in 1967. The AC/DC gigs that caused concerts to be banned at the Bowl (twice). The Men At Work concert that defined where the fence line would be for decades. The institution that was Summadayze. A wonderful gift by the Myer family to Melbourne.
