What a whirlwind of a journey!

On Friday evening Dynamic Performers Australia presented their September Showcase, Magic and Music and Mystery…Oh My! And what an evening it was!

With 60 performers on stage, and around 15 people helping behind the scenes, this show was epic in so many ways!
Our cast worked so hard over the term to present over 20 musical numbers, from solos, duets and trios, to full cast numbers and wonderful specialist dances.

The Team at Dynamic Performers Australia would like to take this opportunity to thank some special people who, without their help, we would have really struggled to give our audience the performance they deserved.

To our incredible cast: you are all so amazing. We were impressed and excited every week to see things start to grow and improve, and to see your confidence and resilience shine through. You are all super stars! Thank you also to the parents who drove their people to rehearsals and helped them practice during the weeks. Your support is so appreciated.

To our wonderful behind the scenes team: Our wellbeing and first aid helpers, who also doubled as what do you need helpers! Emma Saker Alice Jaques and Melissa Cugley (and Honey the Wonderpup!) You helped our cast feel safe and we are so appreciative of you.
To our tech team: Having all the hard work the cast have done elevated by the lights, sound and special effects makes the show so much better and this was spectacular! Well done to Karthy Desmond for managing us all so smoothly, Braden Spink for the follow spot work, Brad Barratt for your help backstage, and to Xavier Beckitt for your impressive work with our sound. You are all wonderful!
Thank you also to our front of house friends, Suzy Strachan and Lindsay Strachan. Your assistance with tickets and ushering was so appreciated. Thanks also to our cast and wellbeing friends who helped with ushering on the night.
To the Equip Church and their venue techs: Eddy, Manny and Michael, thank you for all your help over the last few weeks while we planned and measured and popped in to visit! Your patience and assistance was so helpful.
Thank you to the LSS Productions team for their help with Mics and especially Mark Crick for your fast action to fix things! And thank you to the amazing Katie Karandais for taking photos of our wonderful performance. We can’t wait to see them!
Last, but not least, thank you to the audience, who cheered and clapped, and who made all the work we put in so very worth it! We are thrilled you all enjoyed the performance.
We are so grateful to have another wonderful show under our belt.

Dive deep into vocal technique and explore a diverse repertoire of songs from the golden age of Musical Theatre to Contemporary Musical hits. With a focus on technique, expression and stage presence, you'll receive personalized feedback as you perform in front of the class. Embrace the thrill of learning and growing as a singer in a supportive, creative environment.

Dynamic Performers Australia invites you to join them this Friday at their DYNAMIC MOVIE NIGHT!

Whether you're seeking a place to belong, a chance to grow, or simply some awesome new friends, you'll find it all here in our inclusive and welcoming community. Dynamic Youth Group will be held once a month with a different theme and activities each session.

This week our Youth will be watching the movie musical, Matilda! It's G rated and suitable for children of all ages.

As always we will have some snacks and soft drinks for sale, but people are free to bring their own, along with some pillows and rugs so you can get nice and cozy! Why not wear your PJs? We will be!!!

Tickets are $5 per person and the session will run from 7pm (with doors opening at 6.30) till 9.30pm Friday July 26th.
