Our journey so far...

Now officially out of start-up phase, we are now able to offer events catering, pre-packaged meals, casual lunch catering, platters, grazing tables - & as i’m sure you have noticed, a food van!

So far we have been granted a permit for the Margaret River mouth from Midday to 8pm, we have had some fantastic days down there, since Australia Day (when we started) - with a great response from the community and fantastic feedback on what we have been serving. It has been a diverse menu so far, including paella, MR scotch fillet burgers, vegan falafel burgers and some wicked Cajun chicken burgers, recently we have been making some epic burritos including pulled pork & chipotle, vegan black bean with charred corn and brown rice and the ever popular chicken & chorizo.

We were also invited to the Summer x Salt Markets which were held over a couple of weekends in February down here at the Rifle-butts reserve in Prevelly. The markets were a great 1st event for us and the vibe, music and surf culture was awesome. We decided to make some delicious curries as it was looking a little cooler - so we made a tandoori style butter chicken and a super-delicious Balinese inspired mushroom curry.

More updates soon - we will be at the Autumn lights festival in Margaret River for the closing of the MR Cultural centre on Sat 17th March - which is also St Patrick's day, so look out for some classic Irish inspired fare, without the green food dye!
