I am a Mum to 3 kids who are all under 8 years old.
I started my wedding business the same year that I had my first child (WTF was I thinking?! 😜)
After the birth of my third child and when my hubby started working FIFO, Rustic Romance began to feel like too much to manage so I decided to close up shop for awhile to focus on my family and to enjoy being a Mum.
Was it a smart business decision? ABSOLUTELY NOT!! Do I regret it? ABSOLUTELY NOT!!
Before I became a Mum, I knew it would be my job to teach my kids and guide them through life. But what I didn’t see coming is how much they would teach me!
I have learnt patience & understanding and have grown in ways that I never expected. Experiencing life through the eyes of my children has helped me to look at the world with a renewed sense of wonder ✨
Wanting a better world for my kids and teaching them how to live a sustainable life & how to care for our planet is what reignited my business. My passion for sustainability led me towards a new business direction for Rustic Romance…eco-friendly weddings & events 🌏
It’s a direction that I am still navigating but I know that it is the right path for me. It has already connected me with so many wonderful like-minded people and amazing eco-friendly vendors. I am very excited for what the future holds for Rustic Romance 🤎
I am so grateful for my business. It has allowed me to be at home with my kids while still maintaining a creative outlet that sets my soul on fire 🔥
