📢 Trading Update – A Heartfelt Message to Our Community ❤️

Times are tough—for us, for the industry, and for so many small businesses doing their best to stay afloat.

As many of you know, our café has been on the market for some time following the tough COVID years. Unfortunately, due to the recent downturn in trade, a potential sale has fallen through, leaving us in an even more challenging position. We had hoped to turn a corner, but the financial strain of the past continues to weigh heavily on us. Despite this, we have always strived to offer great value meals, good service, and amazing coffee—because that’s what our community deserves.

However, the current economic climate has left us facing some difficult decisions. My team is always my priority, as is my own well-being. I pay them fairly, I pay my suppliers, I pay super, and I give back to the community wherever I can. But the reality is, I work six days a week with almost nothing to take home, and that’s not fair to my family.

This isn’t just about us—it’s about every small business in town. If you don’t support your local cafés, restaurants, and shops, they will disappear before you know it. And when they do, the conversation will turn to “Why did they close?” The simple truth? Businesses close when they can no longer afford to stay open.

So, if you love what we do, if you appreciate small businesses that pour their heart into serving their community, now is the time to show your support. A coffee, a meal, a kind word—it all makes a difference, not just to me but to my family, Hayley and the entire team who continually turn up each and everyday to try to make a difference.

Thank you for being part of our journey. We appreciate you more than words can say. We will continue to plug away for now! 💙
